I woke up in bed, lying on my back with my breathing uneven and heavy. I then heard Chi's chair rolling towards me. I opened my eyes and saw that he just came into my view. The room was dimly lit, so it was obvious that he had just his desk lamp on. I started to feel lightheaded as Chi took my hand. "Babe," he said in a warm tone, "take a deep breath, okay?" I tried to, but it seemed as though my lungs didn't want to listen. "Here, do them with me. Take a deep breath in..." he then inhaled while I struggled to do so. Once I had it enough, he said as he nodded his head, "Good, now breathe out slowly." which we then did it at the same time. He did it without a problem while I gasped a couple times as I breathed out. He then said, "Let's do it again. In..." he paused, "and out." After we did it a couple more times and my breathing settled back to a normal rate, he passed me my glasses.

Once I put my glasses on, I could see that he wore a worried, yet somewhat relieved expression. He held onto my hand again and tightened his grip on my hand as he said quietly, "You gave me quite a scare...the same goes for Ryu."

I quickly sat up and said frantically, "Ryushi! I have to go see Ryu!"

He pushed me back down slowly to the bed as he explained, "No, hun, you have to rest since you too were poisoned. I'm surprised that you've even woken up so soon."

I tried to sit up again, but he kept me down as I said, "I thought I told you that I've dealt with poison before, so my body is somewhat used to it."

He sighed, "I don't care, but what I do care about is that you're body is still recovering. At the rate it's healing, you'll be able to probably go see Ryu in the morning. So till then, sleep." he leaned over and kissed my forehead, "I love you." and took my glasses off. "Ryu is a strong fighter like you, hun. Our kids could never ask for a better mother, and I could never ask for a better wife."

I smiled a little, "And I couldn't ask for a better husband or kids."

He caressed my cheek as he said, "I know." and paused, "Now, you better go to sleep so you can go and see Ryu sooner."

"Right." I said as I rolled onto my side so I was facing the door and Chi scooted in his chair back to his desk. After five or so minutes of silence, I asked, "If I was poisoned, then why aren't I in the hospital too?"

I could barely see that he turned around in his chair as he explained, "It's a good thing that you got Aizawa and Yamada's attention cause they're the ones who made the call. They were going to bring you to the hospital since your face was losing color from the poison, but as time passed as they ran, your color started to come back. They figured that you'd be fine going home since your quirks were healing you already." He paused, "Do you feel like you need to be in the hospital?"

"No, I was just wondering." I replied.

"Well, wonder later, so go to sleep and get better."

I closed my eyes and said, "Yeah, yeah."

"Good night, I love you." he said in a loving tone. A while later I then finally fell asleep. When I woke up cause of the sun shining on my face, Chi was in bed with me and holding my left hand tightly. I used my right hand to play with his hair a little, to which he opened his eyes a little. He gave a tired smile and said, "Morning, beautiful."

I caressed his cheek with my thumb, "How long did you go without sleep?"

He closed his eyes and said quietly, below the level of a whisper, "Probably about two days, close to three?"

"Hun..." I said a slightly concerned tone.

"It's okay. I'm in bed now and I got done with work for a few weeks, so it's all good."
