When the kids were about five, they wanted to go out trick or treating. Since at the time the crime rate all over the city was unbelievably high, it was highly recommended that the children were to stay home or go to a Halloween party of the sort that was put on by their school or some other venue. That year it just so happened that a Halloween party for eight year old's and younger was being offered by UA in the USJ arena since it was the safest place. Since I obviously had to be there as a part of UA staff and the kids wanted to do something, I figured that they could go there and have fun, with of course Chi watching them.
I let the kids pick out their own costumes and let them get as excited as they wanted. When Halloween finally rolled around, the quadruplets right away knew that when four o'clock came, they could put on their costumes. Rin was a white bunny with ears and a little puff ball tail, along with painted on whiskers and a nose. Rikka wanted to be a grim reaper of all things, so she wore a mysterious black cloak, black face paint, and had a plastic scythe tied to her back so she didn't have to carry it. Ryushi was obsessed with ninjas at the time, so he went as a cliché ninja. Rei, being the brainiac that he was when he was younger, wanted to dress up as Victor Frankenstein.
So, since I had to be at the school by four thirty and the party didn't start until five, I teleported to the USJ arena and joined up with everyone else while Chi was to bring the kids a little after it started. When I arrived there, so many different stands were put up for the little kids to partake in while the students of UA, who volunteered, ran the stands. Those of us who were a part of the staff and a few other extra heroes stayed on the catwalk above everyone else, making sure that everything was running smoothly and that no one was there who shouldn't be. After walking around and looking at all of the different stands that were there, I happened to bump into Mic.
Before I could ask how things were going, he asked in a worried tone, "Have you seen Sho? I've been looking for him and can't find him anywhere."
I had a feeling that he was a little scared in the back of his mind that an attack was going to happen again like when I was still in high school. I tried to smile in a comforting way and said, "No, I haven't seen him, but I'm sure he's around here somewhere. I'll help you look." then joined him as he walked around. "Have you tried to call or text him?"
He sighed as he said, "Yeah, but I then remembered that lately he's been keeping his phone at home or elsewhere when he's on hero duty to prevent breaking it."
I hummed, "I wonder how many phones he has gone through."
"Yeah...I don't know." he said as he thought about it.
"Let's see..." I began to think too, "I've used a reversal quirk on his phone about five times...then he's gotten a new one twice, then got them fixed by someone else..." I looked to Mic, "Man, even when I try and think it out I can't even remember the exact number."
He nodded his head, "Exactly. I swear that the phone companies are making a killing off of money from just Sho alone. He just got a new one over the weekend."
"Really?" I asked, to which he just nodded his head again, "Wow, he needs to take better care of his phone."
"Yes, he really does." he said, agreeing with me.
When we turned around a corner, I just happened to look up and see that Aizawa was already standing up on the catwalk. I poked Mic and said, "I found him."
"Where!?" he asked and looked around frantically as though he thought he was never going to see Aizawa ever again.
I pointed up at Aizawa and said, "He's up there already...maybe we should do the same. The children should be coming in any minute now."
