Third person POV:
Everyone stayed as they were, truly shocked that the day had come and deeply saddened to the point that most turned to one another for comfort. Rikka put her arms around her two brothers, Ryushi and Reiji, while her sister, Rini, scooted back from sitting between Aizawa and Yamada to turn around and curl up in a ball as she sat on the floor, with her chin resting on her knees. Toshinori turned ever so slightly to rub her back while Chikao caressed the side of Y/N's deathly cold face before placing one last kiss.
Everyone stayed in mourning like that for about ten minutes before Chikao spoke up in a groggy voice, "I'll call it in."
Aizawa sniffled before arguing, "No, I will. Hizashi and I should have protected her better, so it's our duty as heroes to do it."
Chikao sighed, not wanting to argue since it wasn't the time nor place for such a thing, "Fine...but I'll be the one to inform her friends." The adults nodded their heads in silent agreement.
After a minute of gathering their courage, Aizawa and Chikao excused themselves to make phone calls. Aizawa was the first one to join the rest of them again while Chikao was still on the phone with the first person that he called, which happened to be Shinso.
"No...you're lying. Y/N can't die, her quirk won't allow it." Shinso said in denial.
"I'm sorry, but like I already said, she lost her quirks a couple weeks ago and they still hadn't returned." Chikao repeated for the third time.
There was a few seconds of silence before Shinso spoke up, "What now?"
"We aren't sure yet...it's so close to Christmas that things are going to be slow."
"Yeah...right..." Shinso said, sounding as though he was in a daze, "Thanks for letting me know...I'll be sure to let Kaminari and Otokari know."
"Right. I'll update you when plans get made...so till then." Chikao said before they hung up. He let out a sigh before dialing his phone to call Midoriya.
"Hello?" Midoriya answered his phone.
"Hey, it's me, Chikao." he started in a somber tone.
Midoriya then said in a happy tone, "Hey, what's up? I haven't talked to you in forever...as if a couple weeks ago was forever." he ended with a chuckle.
"I was just calling to let you know that...umm...that Y/N has...passed on." Chikao struggled to say again.
There was a few seconds of silence before Midoriya said quietly, "There's no way..." he paused before asking, sounding a bit choked up, "What happened? Why couldn't she save herself by using her quirks?"
Chikao took a shaky breath before explaining once again, "She was called in and got hit in the side. I believe that she went due to blood loss." he swallowed down his tears, "She lost her quirks temporarily a couple weeks ago and never said anything, only that she would get them back last week and clearly didn't." He waited for a response, but never got one. "Hello?" There was still no response. "Midoriya, are you still there?"
"Yeah," he replied with his voice soft and wavering, "I'm still here."
"Well, we'll let you know what's to come next; so till then."
"Yeah." Midoriya said before they hung up. Chikao stood there by the stairs, alone and out of everyone's view as he clutched his phone and began to cry again, letting out all that he held back from the phone calls.
In the living room, they all stared at the floor, shedding tears again a few seconds after they stopped. Toshinori then spoke up, "You can bring me back, Rikka."
