About a week passed and it was finally May. I had gotten better, though it was mainly from the persisted help from Chi. He wouldn't drop it or leave my side if I was home. He made sure that I took showers everyday, ate everyday, and accomplished at least one thing. He was there with me the whole time, helping and cheering me on. I suppose that I did take a few days off of work so I was home more, but Chi didn't. He helped me as he worked on his projects for I-island. I felt stupid, but in the end, it helped quite a lot. I actually started to get back into the swing of things and in a happier mood.
One Tuesday, I woke up and got out of bed pretty quick rather than in a sluggish manner. I got my hero costume and got ready in that before kissing Chi on the cheek before I left to go to UA. I teleported there and found myself at the door to the teachers office. Like usual, nearly everyone was there. I went to my desk and sat down, pushing my bags under my desk and organizing my desk for the day as I hummed an old tune.
"You seem to be in a good mood this morning." Mic said to me with a smile as Aizawa crammed in a nap before homeroom.
I took a pause from organizing my desk and looked to him with a smile, "Yeah, I guess I am."
"Well that's good to hear. I'm glad you're doing better."
I looked away slightly, "Yeah...I am too..." then back to him, "I don't really realize how far down I've gone until I come back up."
Aizawa sat back as he stretched, which we weren't expecting, "Now that you're 'up', keep it that way."
I turned back to my desk and continued to organize it and said in a satisfied tone, "I'll try."
There was a pause before Aizawa asked, "Have you heard about Ryushi's accomplishment?"
I finished up as I shook my head, "No I haven't. What happened?"
"He got an apprenticeship at the same agency that Midoriya is at." he informed.
I looked to him with surprise, "What!?"
"Yeah, he'll be going there on Friday to do final papers...I thought he would have told you."
I shook my head, "Are you sure you didn't get him mixed up with Rikka? There's no way that an agency would want someone who doesn't have a quirk."
He shrugged his shoulders, "He does have quite an ability, you know. He does have more skills than a normal person who doesn't have quirks; I mean, he was able to get into UA, not to mention 1-A of all classes."
I shook my head in disbelief, "Man, there's no way that he already has an apprenticeship."
"Well, he does."
I smiled a little as I looked down at my desk. I said quietly, "I'm so proud of him."
Almost just as the first bell rang, the phone on my desk started to ring. I answered it, "Blank speaking."
"Good morning, Blank. I'm sorry to already be asking something of you, but could you please come to my office?" Nezu asked.
"Sure, no problem. I'll be there in a couple minutes." I replied.
"Alright, see you then." he said before he hung up.
I stood up from my desk, pushing in the chair before leaving and left for Nezu's office. On my way there, I passed by the first year classrooms as usual. They were loud since Aizawa let them do whatever while he took a nap. Rikka was with Otokari and Tamori while Ryu was with some boy, who's name I didn't remember...which doesn't help that I'm not all that good with remembering names. When I got to Nezu's office, I knocked on the door and waited for approval to enter. When that was granted, I walked in and stood in front of his desk.
