I woke up at around nine the next day since I woke up before work and called in sick at UA, then went back to sleep. I wasn't sick at all, it was just that I still wasn't all that sure if my quirks were in check quite yet. I got out of bed and ready in a pair of jeans and the same hoodie that I had been living in for the past couple days. I took a shower, which just felt completely horrible on my wings, so I made it a quick one. After that I blow dried my hair before curling it since I had a little bit of ambition in me. Once I walked out of the bathroom, I got the idea that I could call Hawks up and see if he would be able to show me how to fly. Since they formed, I hadn't put them to use at all except making a little safe bubble for myself. I walked around the house, trying to see if I could find Chi, but he wasn't anywhere to be found. I then walked into Rei's room to see if he was in there, which he was.

Rei was working hard on his project, so I figured that I better not waste too much of his time. Since he had headphones on and I could hear his loud music, I tapped a few times on his desk to get his attention since I was within his peripheral vision. He paused his music and pulled his headphones down onto his shoulders. "What's up, mother?" he asked as he pushed up his glasses.

"Do you know where your father went?" I asked.

He hummed as he shook his head slowly, "No?" he then stopped shaking his head to ask, "I thought that he was still at home."

I sighed, "Well, obviously he's not." I then began to leave his room as I said, "Sorry for bothering you."

I could hear that he played his music again as he said, "It's alright."

I went down to the living room and sat on the couch as I found Hawks's contact in my phone. Once I found it, I called him. It rang a few times before he answered, "Hey, what's up, kid?"

"Hey, was wondering if you've heard about what's happened?" I started out by asking.

He hummed as though he was thinking, "Where?"

I sighed and said sarcastically under my breath, "Perfect." before asking normally, "Are you busy today?"

"Nope. Why?"

"I was thinking that we could meet up somewhere, preferably a high place."

He chuckled, "What are you going to do? Finally kill me? If you don't remember, I have wings you know."

I sighed, "This is somewhat important."

He sighed in return since I wasn't going to play his little game. "Fine, let's meet at the abandoned part of the city. I'll be waiting on top of the tallest building there, which should be easy to find."

"Alright, I'll meet you there."

"Wait, right now?" he asked.

I nodded my head, "Well yeah, I already said that it's kind of important."

He sighed again, "Fine, but it better be really important."

"Yeah, whatever, I'll see you then." I said before I hung up.

I stood up and I slid my phone into my pocket before I went over to the door to see if the car keys were there. They weren't, so Chi then obviously took the car. I pulled out my phone again so I could text him, asking where he was. He replied a minute later saying that he was just about to leave the grocery store. I then put my phone back in my pocket and walked back to the living room to wait there since I figured that Chi should be back home in a few minutes. Sure enough, he did make it home a few minutes later like he said. As soon as he brought all of the groceries in, I joined him in the kitchen.

Chi looked over his shoulder at me as he asked, "Good morning, how are you feeling?"

I huffed, "Well, I've obviously felt better."
