Time skip 3 yrs.

It's been 3 years, almost 4, since Kyo was born and adopted into the Uchiha family. She now has her own room and belongings but insists on sleeping in sasuke's or even Itachi's shirts instead of regular pajamas. Kyo has grown to be very close to her family. She always tries her best to make them smile and be happy when they are together and always wants to spend time with her brothers. Since her parents decided she was old enough and smart enough, they sat her down along with Itachi, Sasuke, Shisui, and Kakashi to tell her the story of how she came into their lives and who her real parents and brother were and why they aren't here. They also were very careful to explain that even though she wasn't born from them she will always be loved as if she was and people will treat her as so.

"So, my real parents died protecting me and my big brother Obito died protecting his friends and the village from war?" asked Kyo. "Yes. Your big brother Obito was one of my closest friends. I considered him to be a brother to me much like Itachi considers Shisui to be a brother to him." Answered Kakashi. "Wouldn't that make you and Shisui my big brothers too? Since it was you guys who rescued me too." Said Kyo. Kakashi was stunned to hear this from little Kyo and overwhelmingly happy just like Shisui. "Sure, thing kid! We can be your big brothers too! Only if you want us to think of you as a little sister. We would like that very much. Wouldn't we Kakashi?" answered Shisui. "Yes. Yes, we would. Only if you want us to be your big brothers." Kakashi said with a smile. Although it was hidden over that stupid mask. "YAY! Now I have so many big brothers. I have Sasuke, Itachi, Shisui, Kakashi, and Obito." Said Kyo. Then she jumped onto Kakashi and Shisui, who happened to be sitting next to each other and said "I'm so happy I have such a big loving family. And I promise to do my very best to protect all of my wonderful big brothers and my parents!". Kakashi and Shisui started laughing at the little ball of giggling Uchiha squeezing them. "We promise to protect you too little sister." Said Shisui. "Good now it's your turn big brother Kakashi." Said Kyo. "My turn for what?" asked Kakashi. "To say the big brother promise... unless you don't want to." Answered Kyo. Then Kakashi picked her up and sat her on his lap and said "Of course I want to little one! I also promise to protect you always little sister.". "YAY!" kyo giggled and then snuggled herself between Kakashi and Shisui and held their arms. "What about you big brother Sasuke? Do you want more brothers too?" asked Kyo. "No! I don't need them. All I need is you and big brother Itachi. That's it." Answered Sasuke. "Oh well okay then. More brothers for me." She responded with a smile.

Ever since then Shisui and Kakashi became inseparable from Kyo. Whenever she was not with Itachi or Sasuke, she would be with one of them. Kyo got into the habit of calling Shisui by the nickname sushi. Which he kept saying was annoying, but he secretly loved it. He was an only child so having a sweet nickname from his little sister Kyo was something he considered to be very valuable. Kakashi felt the same way whenever Kyo called him Kashi. Everyone around him was always so serious and just called him by his name. He preferred it that way with Kyo as the only exception. Kyo was the only person to give Kakashi and Shisui nicknames that weren't ninja related and little sister love. That meant the world to each of them and they both considered her to be precious to them.

Kyo's 4th birthday was coming up and she was so excited because it meant she was getting closer to becoming an awesome shinobi and it gave her an opportunity to spend time with her family and friends. Kyo was very well liked by the village kids. She hasn't had much interaction with the adults other than the Hokage, but she believed that would change when she joined the academy with sasuke next year when she would turn 5. She would make a new friend whenever she went out with one of her brothers. That was a goal she had given herself so that she would have lots of reliable friends. She was out with Itachi one day walking to the park so she could play while Sasuke and her father were starting training when she heard a lot of commotion. "What's going on big brother Itachi?" asked Kyo. "I don't know. Why don't we take a quick look?" answered Itachi. The truth is he knew exactly what was going on. People were being mean to Naruto Uzumaki again because of the nine-tails incident that happened the night of his birth. He didn't find any reason to be mean to the poor kid because he doesn't think it was his fault at all. He wanted to see what his little sister would do about it though. Kyo was a very kind child and he wanted to know if she would rush in to stop it or believe what they say and leave him be.
