The Tale of Kyo Uchiha

chapter 35 - first day... again

3rd pov

Kyo's alarm clock rang bright and early at 5:30am so that she could make it to the hokage's office at 6. Kyo groaned from underneath her blankets and turned her alarm clock off. Just as she was about to take the blankets off and get out of bed her door opened and once again she felt the weight of an elephant crush her in her bed.

"Rise and shine munchkin its day 1 of being a ninja and its time to get up!" said Shisui happily.

Kyo wheezed out an "I'm awake, but wont live to get my first mission with you sitting on me."

Shisui laughed and said "Oh goodness kyo you're absolutely right."

Then he fully laid on her and asked "Better?"

"NO SUSHI NOT BETTER" kyo grunted out.

After laughing again shisui got off kyo and pulled her up so she was sitting. Her hand flew to her chest and she said "Thank goodness I didn't think i would make it out alive."

"Oh relax I dont weigh that much"

"You weigh more than Tachi does"

Shisui gasped and put his hand to his chest and said "I do not"

Kyo laughed and got out bed.

While shoving Shisui out of her room she said "Yes you do Sushi now get out so i could get ready."

After letting kyo shove him out of the room, Shisui shook his head with a small smile and said "That kid man."

It took Kyo about 10 minutes to get herself dressed and ready and make her way towards the kitchen for breakfast.

When she got there she saw her usual site. Her mother making breakfast while her brothers sat at the table. Itachi and shisui talking about something while sasuke patiently waited for his sister to sit next to him so they could talk too.

Its not a lot that kakashi joins them but its been a lot less than before because for some reason unbeknownst to kyo the uchiha were being more closed off to the rest of the village and didn't let many in the compound besides themselves. Her father was off at work already, she assumed.

Kyo sent sasuke a smile and sat down next to him they started talking about whatever cool thing sasuke had done that makes kyo think hes the coolest.

"Eat up kids big day today." mikoto said as she sat down plates of food.

"Are you ready for your first day as a ninja kyo?" asked Itachi.

Kyo couldn't tell because of her excitement but there was a look of worry in Itachi's eyes when asking that question. He was sure she was ready and that she was capable but he still worried for her as she was so young.

"Oh I bet you're super excited right munchkin?" said Shisui.

He was more excited for her than worried though the worry lingered with him. Shisui was excited for kyo to have some fun being a ninja and get to see the world outside the village besides her time with Orochimaru. He wanted her to see the beauty of the world during her time as a ninja.

Kyo smiled brightly at her brothers and said "This is the most exciting day ever. I can't wait to get started with my first mission. I wonder what my team will be like.".

"I wonder who your sensei will be." wondered Itachi.

Kyo then frowned and looked at sasuke.

"I wish I could be on your team sasu."

"Don't worry kiki, we'll go on missions together when I become a ninja too. I'm right behind you." said sasuke with a smile.

While kyo always looked up to her brothers, it was sasuke she wanted the approval of the most as they were closest in age.
