The Tale of Kyo Uchiha

chapter 29 - hey munchkin

3rd Pov

It was mid morning early afternoon and Shisui was walking towards the Uchiha household to pick up kyo for the start of their training. He hadn't seen Kyo for a while because he was sent away on a mission. As he was making his way over he had to pass the playground that he would take Kyo to when they spent time together. He looked over and saw a boy about his age pushing a little girl about Kyo's age on the swing, both of them laughing. He smiled at them as he thought of Kyo. He then looked down and saw the patch of flowers he saw when he was with kyo for her birthday last year.

He bent down and picked the flower he thought was the prettiest and made his way to Kyo's house. When he got there he heard yelling that sounded like it came from sasuke and kyo. Sibling bickering. He chuckled at their little voices and knocked on the door.

The door was opened by Mikoto who smiled warmly at shisui.

"Good morning Shisui! Come on in! Have a snack and i'll grab Kyo for you." said Mikoto.

"Thank you Mikoto. It sounds like her and sasuke are going at it haha."

"Yeah they've been arguing about one of them eating the last piece of dango earlier after their lesson with Fugaku. He stepped out with Itachi to do some work which is why their arguing has lasted this long. I would stop them but they're just so cute and its very entertaining I must say."

Shisui laughed and said "Yes they're very cute. Who actually ate the last piece of dango?"

Mikoto smiled and said "You know it was Itachi. He ate it during the kids' lesson before he left with their father. I tried to tell them that but they think one of them is lying about eating it."

Shisui was about to comment when Kyo and Sasuke made their way into the room.

"STOP LYING YOU BOOGER BRAIN I KNOW YOU ATE IT."

"NO I DIDNT YOU BIG BABY YOU ATE IT YOU FART FACE".

"Kyo don't call you brother a booger brain and sasuke don't call your sister a fart face. I tried to tell you both that Itachi ate the last piece but neither of you would listen. Now stop arguing, it's time for Kyo to train." said Mikoto.

Both kids looked at their mother then at each other and then crossed their arms and looked away from each other with scowls on their faces. After doing that for about 5 seconds they looked at each other and said at the same time "Lets get Itachi".

They fist bumped as if to seal the deal that they would beat up Itachi when he came home and then acknowledged the other people in the room.

"SUSHI" yelled Kyo as she ran to him and hugged him

"Hey munchkin!" he said as he hugged her back.

"I haven't seen you in so long! Where have you been? I missed you!" says Kyo as she buried her face in his shoulder.

This caused shisui to hug her tighter and say "I know munchkin its been awhile. I've been on missions away from the village. I missed you too. But look, I brought you something.".

Shisui then handed kyo the flower he picked earlier.

"Hey this is the same flower you gave me on my birthday last year." said Kyo.

Shisui nodded and said "Have you been growing beautiful and strong?"

Kyo smiled at her brother and said "Yup! Just like this flower like you said."

"Good. Okay are you ready to start training? I'm excited to see what you've learned since i've been away." said Shisui.

Kyo nodded and said with a smirk "Oh yeah sushi i'm ready. Wait til you see all the cool stuff I can do."
