The Tale of Kyo Uchiha

"You're first mission will be a rescue mission. One of the villagers has lost her cat and is very distraught about it. Your job will be to find her cat and bring it to her safely and unharmed. Do you accept?" said the Hokage.

Kyo looked at the Hokage with a ready for anything look but the fire in her eyes diminished a little bit.

A cat? Really? That would be her first big mission as a ninja? She was hoping for something a little more exciting than finding a lost cat but this will do.

She shook away her thoughts and said "Yes sir I accept. What's the name of the cat and what does it look like?"

"You will find all the information you need in this mission scroll. After reading it thoroughly gather your things and head out. Good luck Kyo and Congratulations once again." said the Hokage.

After taking the scroll and bowing Kyo and her father made their way out of the Hokages office.

"Hopefully you won't be stuck with such silly missions such as these for long. Soon you should be doing personal missions for the Hokage himself as I suggested just like Itachi does." said Fugaku.

Kyo nodded to her father and started to look over her mission scroll but she could feel that romo was once again uneasy. She wondered if it had something to do with her father and made a mental note to ask him about it later.

"I'm going to head out now father. I have to find the lost cat Riku."

"Very well. Do not disappoint the Hokage its very important that you remain in his good graces."

Kyo nodded again at her father and then turned around and raced out of the Hokage building.

Fugaku watched his daughter leave the building and a smirk started to grow on his face.

As kyo was perched up in a tree reading over the file on Riku she thought now would be a good time to ask romo about how he felt earlier.

"Romo?"

Yes kyo

"Whats going on? I can tell your feeling upset about something. Do you want to talk about it?"

I was just a bit thrown by your father. His aura was a bit dark and he had an intense look on his face that was a different intense than usual. I think you may need to be wary of him. Something is not right.

"Dad? He always has that intense look on his face. I think he's just being dad and probably expects good things from me. So I need to do whatever I can to do my best. I will listen to you though and be careful incase he's up to something."

It seems important to him for you to have a good relationship with the hokage. Why do you think that is?

"I don't really know. I think he just wants me to be like Itachi."

Do you want to be like Itachi?

"Not really. I want to be me and form my own path."

Thats good kyo. Im glad. Now you should start looking for that cat.

"Okay romo i will. I'll also remember what you said."

Kyo then cut the connection and went back to looking for Riku.

A few hours later.... 

After searching far and wide for this cat and having no luck kyo was getting tired and needed a break. She was using every ability she could to look for Riku. She tried using her eyes, sensing him out, and was even asking villagers if they'd seen him.
