The Tale of Kyo Uchiha

chapter 21 - sasuke's plan

3rd POV

After being home and sleeping on a bed for the first time in months, Kyo realized how much she missed her bed. As soon as she fell asleep, she slept for almost a whole 24 hours. When she woke up it was around 2pm and she woke up alone in her room.  She laid there staring at the ceiling of her room for what felt like forever. Partly because her body was so unbelievably sore she didn't want to move. But she was also thinking about everything she had just been through. Her time with Orochimaru, the experiments done on her and the extreme pain she was put through.

But she was also thinking about her friends that she made while she was there and how they are STILL there. She laid there and thought about her friends. Karin, Suigetsu, and Jugo. She promised herself that she would see them again and she knew they felt the same way. They did pinky promise to remain friends after all. They wouldn't dare break a pinky promise. The most sacred of codes.

Kyo also started to think about what exactly was done to her while she was strapped down on that table. She now had these huge chakra reserves, wood style, and her sharingan. Plus her new friend Romo. There was a lot that Kyo didn't understand and she wanted to know more about what was done to her and about the new being that lives inside her. But right now she just wanted to be in her house with her family and people who cared about her.

Speaking of, Kyo finally looked over to where Sasuke was and noticed he was gone. At first she started to panic a bit but she was able to calm herself down and attempted to sit up. As if he knew Kyo was now awake Sasuke walked back into the room with the book he grabbed last night before they went to bed.

"Kiki! You're finally awake! I'm so glad." He said.

He saw kyo smile and nod at him and then she went back to trying to sit up. After some help from her brother Kyo was able to sit up properly. It was then that she noticed the book in her brothers hands. She pointed at the book as if asking him what it was.

"oh this. This is a book that I grabbed from father's desk last night and I was up reading and studying it. It's gonna help us communicate while you can't talk." Said Sasuke.

Kyo had a puzzled look on her face as if she was asking what book it was. Sasuke finally held it up to her and she was able to read what it was. It was a book on morse code. Whatever that was.

Sasuke saw Kyo's confusion and then said "This is a book on morse code. It's a way for us to talk without using our voices. We learned about it in the academy and now I'm gonna teach it to you so we can use it to talk. Morse code is basically using sounds or light to talk.".

Kyo looked even more confused, but Sasuke assured her that he would help her understand so that while she couldn't talk, they would be able to communicate.  After a few hours of trying to learn this with Sasuke Kyo was starting to get frustrated because it was taking so long to get this down. While Kyo was very smart for her age she still had the patience of a 4-year-old, so she was starting to get bored.

But Kyo could tell that this was important to Sasuke. He was really trying his best to help Kyo learn morse code so they could communicate with each other. So she put her boredom aside and started to try harder to learn.

Timeskip 3 days

3rd POV

It had been 3 days and Kyo had pretty much gotten morse code down and she was able to talk to Sasuke which had made him very happy.

"Father guess what!" exclaimed Sasuke.

"what is it Sasuke?" said Fugaku

"Kyo and I found a way to talk to each other without speaking. I helped her learn morse code like I am in the academy. Now she understands it!" said Sasuke.

This intrigued Fugaku. Was it possible for his 4-year-old daughter to learn morse code in 3 days? Was she that intelligent? This he has to see for himself.

"Show me." Said Fugaku. "Okay Father I'll go get kyo."

After Sasuke came back with Kyo he told her that they were going to show their father what they learned and she nodded.

"Okay Kyo try introducing yourself to father." Said Sasuke. Kyo nodded and was able to do it perfectly with a series of knocks on the kitchen table.

Is my daughter a genius? How was it possible for her to learn morse code in a matter of 3 days at such a young age? Bless Sasuke and his ability to help his sister but it took him weeks to master morse code and he's only a year older. Yes Sasuke also has a superior intelligence than those his age but for Kyo to learn it in 3 days?

After seeing Kyo and Sasuke have a conversation about what they want for dinner in morse code Fugaku decided he wanted his daughter to take an IQ test.

"This is wonderful Kyo! I'm glad you're able to communicate with your brother in this way and I'm proud of you Sasuke for being the one to teach her." Said Fugaku. After receiving hugs and smiles from his children he left for the Hokage's office to discuss getting his daughter tested.
