The Tale of Kyo Uchiha

chapter 14 - not alone

Kyo POV

Ouch. My whole body was in pain. I wasn't on the table anymore. I think I'm on the ground now. Its really hard. I also know I'm not alone anymore. I can hear voices. By the sound of them it sounds like other kids. There are other kids here! Open your eyes Kyo. I could sort of make out what they were saying in my current state.

"She's a tiny one isn't she." That voice is a boy voice. "Shut up suigetsu! But yeah, she is really small." This was a girl's voice. Suigetsu. That must be the boy's name. They sounded close. If only my eyes would open so I could see. "You guys she's asleep. Leave her alone and let her rest. She was with Orochimaru for long time." A new boy voice said. Not Suigetsu this voice was a tad deeper. So, there is a boy named Suigetsu, another boy, and a girl in here with me. I just wish my darn eyes would open and that my body would move. Speaking of my body it feels different. Drained I guess but full at the same time.

"Wow!" said the girl. "What is it, Karin?" asked suigetsu. Karin so that's the girl's name. "She has the biggest chakra reserves I've ever seen in my life. I've never seen someone so small posses this much chakra." Said Karin.

What? I have massive chakra reserves? What is she talking about? If that's true, then someone would have told me. Then this must be new. Maybe that's what Orochimaru was doing to me in there. Making my chakra reserves huge. I have no idea why though. That must explain the drained but full feeling my body has and why I'm so exhausted. I am full of chakra. My body has never had reserves this big that's why I feel so drained. I think.

I need to wake up. Maybe these kids can help me. C'mon eyes open. After a bit of struggling I was finally able to open my eyes.

3rd POV

Suddenly Kyo's eyes began to flutter open. An orange haired boy was the first out of the 3 kids to notice. "Suigetsu Karin be quiet. I think she's waking up." He said. The voice of their friend managed to grab their attention which was then placed on Kyo. The 3 kids were a bit hesitant to approach her though. They had heard everything from when Kyo was brought into the lab to the gruesome and blood curdling screams she made while with Orochimaru. To be honest they were a little afraid of her. Even the orange haired boy who had yet to be identified by Kyo.

She had managed to sit up all by herself, even though it was quiet painful, and take in her surroundings. It seemed like they were in some sort of cell. She saw the 3 kids who were all watching her. Afraid of what may happen next. The first kid, the girl, had red hair like Kyo had never seen before. It stuck up in the back kind of like her big brother Sasuke's and she wore glasses. This was the girl she had assumed to be called Karin.

The second kid, a boy, had white hair that was blue on the ends. Hair that sorta looked the same color as another one of Kyo's big brothers. Kakashi. This boy also had purple eyes and really sharp teeth. This boy may be the one they call Suigetsu but she wasn't sure because he wasn't the only boy in the room. The next boy had spiky orange hair with eyes that matched. They all had serious looks on their faces that slightly scared Kyo because she had no idea what was going on.

After a bit of silence Kyo had finally worked up the nerve to say something to them in an effort to ease the tension and find out some information about what happened to her. "....hi..." said kyo with an awkward wave and smile. The 3 kids were a bit taken aback by her soft tone and smile. They had never encountered a situation like this. Where a prisoner of Orochimarus wasn't insane. They were so surprised that they had flinched when she spoke.

This didn't go unnoticed by Kyo. "Oh, I'm sorry I-I didn't mean to frighten you! It's actually m-me that's afraid. My name is Kyo Uchiha. W-Who are you guys?" said kyo. She then attempted to hold out her hand for them to shake as a greeting, but it was shaking a lot. So instead, she tried to stand in attempt to walk over to them and was able to but only for a second before she started to fall forward. She closed her eyes waiting for the inevitable impact of the ground, but it never came. She opened her eyes to realize she had been caught.
