chapter 16 - who are you

Kyo POV

Suddenly the pain in my body stopped and I found myself in what looked like a long hallway. I had the urge to start walking so I did. After I walked for about a minute I found a big room. The walls in the hall ways and in the big room were painted with happy colors like white, yellow, blue, and purple. The floor was covered with grass and it seemed like a peaceful place. Perfect for a 4-year-old like me.

As I took another look around I saw someone sitting there with it's eyes closed. It looked like it was waiting for me. Well duh kyo of course it's waiting for you. It's you're head I think. I walked over to it until I thought I was close enough to talk to it.

I gulped and then said "Umm h-hello". The someone opened there eyes and looked straight at me. It was like it's purple eyes were staring into my soul and it scared me a little.

It must have noticed because then it said "Fear not dear child I mean you no harm.". Those words were surprisingly reassuring so I relaxed a little bit. "Say mister did I die?" I asked. He laughed at me and said "No Kyo you're very much alive.". Well that's a relief.

"So are you the one who saved me mister? Where are we right now? Who are you anyway?" I asked. He laughed again and then said "Why don't you sit down young Kyo and I'll tell you everything you want to know.". So I sat down and gave him my full attention.

"I'll start with my name. You like nicknames right? My name is pretty long so you can just call me romo for now. As for where we are, we are in your subconscious inside your head. Now I'll begin telling you what happened. This Orochimaru fellow has been doing some intense experiments on you. Which I find infuriating. This last one doesn't produce many survivors and you almost lost the fire that burns in your soul. As you were laying there on the table I saw your chakra start to fade rapidly so I decided it was the time to step in and help. So, I have sealed half of my own chakra inside you to save you. I've been watching you for a little while now Kyo Uchiha and I've seen the person you are. The way you care so much about people especially your family and friends. How much compassion you have for the people you care about. It's quite remarkable for such a young child. I've decided that you are pure of heart and could be a place where I could see the world from your eyes. With your permission of course.". said Romo. Woahhhh.

"So when Orochimaru did this experiment on me I almost died but you sealed some of your own chakra inside of me to save my life?" I asked. He nodded.

"And you want to stay here inside my head and watch the world through my eyes because you think I have a pure heart?" I asked. He nodded again. "So right now I have 2 chakras inside me, yours and my own?"

"Yes but if you decide that you want us to stick together my chakra will also be yours and you could be called a Jinchuriki. Well part jinchuriki anyways." He said.

"This...this is.." I said. "Now I know this is a lot to take in"- romo started but I cut him off. "This is THE COOLEST THING TO HAPPEN TO ME EVER IN MY LIFE! Wow! Except for the almost dying part but thank you so much for saving me and giving me your chakra to share and for all the nice things you said about me." I yelled.

Then I ran up to him and gave him a huge hug. Romo laughed and said "So Kyo, what do you think about all this?". I put on my thinking face and thought really hard about this situation.

"Well Romo after hearing you out I've decided that I accept being part jinchuriki to you and helping you see the world through my eyes and I hope you and I can have a good partnership." I said with a smile.

Romo then smiled and said "Thank you Kyo. I believe that you can help bring peace to this world.". "Really!? That's my biggest dream. To bring peace to the ninja world so that nobody else has to sacrifice themselves like my big brother Obito did." I said.

"I truly think you can do it Kyo and I'm willing to lend you all the help you need to complete your goal." Said Romo. I smiled real big and hugged him again and thanked him. "Umm romo how long have I been asleep and how do I wake up?" I asked.

"You've been asleep for about 2 hours and I can detect Orochimaru's chakra coming this way. In order to leave your subconscious just focus on your own chakra and your surroundings it's gonna be hard at first but you'll get the hang of it soon enough. If you want to talk to me just call out my name in your mind and we can talk while you're awake. Sound simple enough?" he said.

I nodded. "Yeah sounds simple enough Romo. Say before I go can you tell me more about yourself? Like your full name and where you came from?" I asked. I was really curious about romo and who he really is.

"I'll tell you everything about me when you're old enough how about that? One more thing, is it alright if you can keep me a secret for now? It would be safer for you." said Romo. I sighed and said "Alright I guess that's fair I'll talk to you later romo thanks again for everything.". "No problem Kyo. If you need me I'm just a call away." Said romo. I nodded and then closed my eyes and tried to focus on my chakra and my surroundings.

When I opened my eyes again I was met with another bright light so I shut my eyes again so I could adjust to it. After I adjusted to the light I saw Orochimaru staring at me. "How do you feel Kyo?" he asked me. "Well I'm alive aren't I?" I said. Orochimaru scowled at me and said "Unfortunately". 

Then he started looking at his clipboard and writing things down. "What did you do to me this time?" I asked. "One of my most dangerous experiments that almost no one survives until today. Now we are going to test you to see if it worked." He responded.

That doesn't sound good. "No I don't want to! I want to go home! I want my brothers! Please let me go! I'm scared!" I yelled. While I was yelling at him Orochimaru managed to pick me up by my legs and throw me into a cell. Then he started walking away. I was relieved until I heard a voice I never heard before.

"Well look at what we have here. Fresh meat" I turned around and saw I was surrounded by at least 5 other prisoners. They all looked big and scary and like they wanted to kill me. Then I heard Orochimaru's voice again on some sort of speaker. "Hello my fellow experiments. I've pulled the best of the best in order to give one of you a chance at freedom. All you have to do is kill that little girl in front of you." Said Orochimaru.

WHAT!? KILL ME!? This is not gonna end well. Panic started to settle in me and I was terrified when orochimaru said his next words "Ready? Set? Kill.".

Then they all charged at me. They were at the other end of the cell so I had about 5 seconds before they got to me and killed me. I didn't know what to do so I put my hands out in front of me to keep them away and closed my eyes while I yelled "STOP!".

Then I felt it. Something weird happened to my hands and I heard sounds from the 5 prisoners. It sounded like they were in pain and then their sounds stopped suddenly. "It worked. I cant believe it" said Orochimaru. When I felt it was safe I opened my eyes and gasped at what I saw.

All of the prisoners were dead and there was wood coming out of my hands.

A/N hey guys sorry for the short chapter i had a bit of writers block but i have this whole story planned out all the way up until boruto and i haven't decided if i'm even gonna go that far but we'll see. So now you've been introduced to Romo and Kyo has become a half jinchuriki.
