The next day Kyo got out of bed and got herself ready for the day. After having breakfast with sasuke like she does every morning sasuke set out to go train and kyo set out to meet naruto to go with him to take his ninja registration photo.

"See you later Sasuke!" kyo called out to him.

"Bye" he answered.

Kyo was determined to get him to call her kiki again. She had to do some personal reflection in order to even think of being comfortable using nicknames with her brothers again. But she wanted to get back to her old self. She determined there will never be enough time for either her or sasuke to get over the mass murder of their clan but she didn't wanna be miserable anymore. Nicknames, she thought, would be a small step back to the happy girl she once was.

Eventually she made it to Naruto's house and knocked on the door.

"Naruto! Let's go, it's almost your appointment time!" she called out. She opened the door to his place because she knew it was unlocked as he was expecting her. She was greeted by his messy house, which she had grown accustomed to, and made herself comfortable at his table while she waited for him.

"I'm coming!" naruto said from the bathroom.

Then he opened the bathroom door and walked out to see kyo.

"Took you long enoughWHAT DID YOU DO TO YOUR FACE" said kyo as she saw his ridiculous face paint.

Naruto started posing and then said "Do you like it? Isn't it amazing? My picture is gonna be better than everyone elses for sure.".

Kyo sassily looked him up and down and said "Oh I know you're not taking your picture like that."

"Yup Let's go!"

Naruto then grabbed Kyo's arm and dragged her out of his house. The walk to the Hokage building was unbearable for kyo. People kept looking at the two of them like they were insane. She was practically running towards the building. Once they got to where they needed to go, Naruto sat down in the chair and kyo stood off to the side next to the photographer.

"Listen kid, are you sure you want to take your picture like this?" asked the photographer.

"Yes Yes Yes just take it already" said naruto.

The photographer looked over at kyo and she just shrugged her shoulders. Then the photographer sighed and took the picture. As soon as it was done and naruto and kyo had left the photographer, kyo immediately hit naruto with a mild water jutsu.

"HEY What'd you do that for???" yelled a now wet naruto.

"I'm not walking around the village with you while you look like that any longer. Besides, you know the Hokage is gonna tell you to take it again right?" said Kyo.

"No way! It took me forever to get the paint right!" said Naruto.

Kyo laughed and then walked over to him.

Then while she helped him get the rest of the paint off his face, it happened again. She was using a cloth she grabbed from his place to clean around his eyes and she found herself getting lost in them. They were just so blue and she thought they were some of the prettiest eyes she's ever seen.

"Uhh kyo? Did you get all the paint off? You're looking at me really hard." said naruto.

Kyo then realized what she was doing and then shook her head and nervously said "Oh yeah I got it all. Don't worry about it, let's go hahaha."

She then turned around and started walking towards their next destination. Naruto held his hand up to where kyo was holding his face and a light blush appeared on his face. Then he caught up with kyo.
