chapter 11 - kyo's birthday pt.7 kakashi pt.2

3rd POV

          "I want to know about what kind of person he was. His personality. His dream. His friends. How he was in school. On your team. What life was all about to him. How he lived his life. How it ended. I also wanna know what he would think of me since you knew him best. What our life would be like if he was still around." Said an anxious Kyo. "Okay little one I will tell you everything you want to know to the best of my abilities. I'll start with your first question. What kind of person he was. Obito Uchiha was loud, smart mouthed, annoying, and reckless." Said Kakashi.

          "Oh" said Kyo with a small frown. "But he was also very kind, reliable, strong willed, determined, and had the upmost respect for people. He was the best friend I ever had. We may have gotten off on a rocky start, but his friendship was a very valuable thing to a lot of people. Much like yours."

          "Really? How so?" asked Kyo. "Well to me, Obito was the best friend anyone could have. He was compassionate and very driven about a lot of things. Including his friends. He always was there for them and did his best to make them happy. He would always make us laugh. Although sometimes accidental, he knew how to lift people's spirits. He was very genuine and always had the best intentions. His heart was pure, and he always put his all into everything he did. He always did his best and never gave up. Those types of people are hard to come by. That's why he was so valuable. You and your brother are alike in that sense." Said Kakashi.

"Wow! He sounds like he was an amazing person. Life of the party like me. I know you gave me a lot of it right now, but can you tell me more about his personality?" said Kyo with a wide smile. Kakashi looked down at Kyo and gave a small laugh and a smile. "Yeah, you both are very outgoing like that. Hmmm more about his personality. Let's see. Your big brother Obito was the most loyal person I've ever met. Well besides my father." Said Kakashi. "You should tell me about your papa one day Kashi. I bet he was just as amazing as you are, and I would love to know about him. If you ever want to talk about him." Said Kyo.

            The mention of his father to Kyo was purely accidental. He got caught up in what he was saying it just was a slip of the tongue. Which is why her instant response about him was a surprise to him. He underestimated Kyo sometimes. She may have just turned four, but her intelligence was far beyond that of a four-year-old. She knew how to read people and their emotions quite well for someone so young. Her words to him about his father were genuine and she was very interested in hearing about him one day. This thought warmed Kakashi's heart and caused him to hug Kyo just a little tighter. "Yeah, maybe one day I'll tell you about him too. He would have loved you." He said with a smile that Kyo returned.

           "Now back to Obito, he was very loyal and optimistic. He was always very motivated and determined to show people what he was made of. He was proud to be a part of the Uchiha clan and wore his symbol with pride. Obito was never afraid to be who he was. He was brave and fearless. Always had the courage and drive to do what was right. He would always be willing to lend a hand and help a person in need. Which became a hobby of his. I would say the most notable quality he had was his huge heart and overwhelming kindness." Said Kakashi. Kyo was looking up at Kakashi the entire time he was talking with awe. Her brother sounded like the greatest person in the world to her. She was idolizing him more and more each time Kakashi spoke. Obito was starting to become a role model for her.

        "He sounds so cool! Like the coolest person ever! I'm so happy to be related to someone like Obito-Nii! What else?" exclaimed Kyo. Kakashi gave a small laugh and said "Hmm what else? Oh! You asked about his dream, right? Well, your brother would go on and on about his dream of being Hokage and how one day his face and sharingan eyes would be carved next to the previous Hokages. Goggles and all.". Kyo laughed and said "But if he had his goggles carved it would look like his eyes are poking out. I believe he could have done it though. Based off what you said so far he sounds like he would have made a great hokage.".
