The Tale of Kyo Uchiha

chapter 37- trouble begins

Some time has gone by since kyo's first mission and she has been on many missions since. She has worked a lot with other ninjas mainly jonin like Asuma, Kurenai, and Gai. Who she has become very close with. She was already very close with asuma, referring to him as her uncle, and she has spent some time with Gai before during her training, who she also calls her uncle, but she was really excited to bond with and learn from kurenai. She didn't know many female ninjas besides herself and anko. She was really looking forward to maybe getting an auntie to add to her family.

Lucky for her after her 3rd mission with kurenai she naturally started calling her auntie and kurenai was touched.

"Welcome to the club" Asuma had told her with a laugh.

As time had gone by Kyo had started to learn more about being a ninja and what the life consisted of. Since she was still only 5 she would give her mission pay to her parents who told her that they would save it for her, which they are, for when she becomes of age.

Kyo was also learning more about the inside dangers of being a ninja such as some of the people running the village. She was a bit wary of a man named Danzo in particular. When she was once reporting to the Hokage about her mission, he walked in the room and chills immediately went down her spine.

This was something the Hokage had picked up on and he decided in that moment that he wasn't ever going to let Danzo get his hands on kyo or any of her special abilities so he's done his best to keep her out of his grasp.

Kyo had also started to be more aware of her own family. Specifically her father. She had noticed he had been acting strangely and looking at her differently like a christmas present he couldn't wait to show everyone.

She figured this must be what Romo had meant when he told her to be aware of her family. She had come to the conclusion that she needed to have a conversation with her brothers about her concerns. So kyo had told herself that she was going to talk to Itachi and Shisui about it next time she saw them and asked Romo to remind her so she doesn't forget to which he agreed.

Kyo was pulled out of her thoughts when she heard a loud "FOUND YOU KYO"

"Aw mannn Shikaaaa you were supposed to be watching for naruto so we don't lose."

Shikamaru waved his hand dismissively at her and said "Hide and seek is too much of a drag."

Kyo rolled her eyes at him and dragged him out from under the play structure they were hiding under.

"I totally found you guys" said Naruto with a smile. He was really happy to be playing with the others. Ever since kyo became a ninja he hasn't seen her much so he enjoys playing with her when he can.

"Did you find Choji yet?" asked kyo.

"He was the first one I found. He was eating his chips really loud behind that tree." Naruto laughed.

"OOOO chips! What flavor are they?" asked kyo as she walked over to choji who was standing next to naruto.

"No way he gives her any I asked him to share a bunch of times and he always said no." said Naruto.

"They're barbeque do you want some kyo?" asked Choji.

Kyo nodded her head and took some chips from the bag. "Thanks Choji!"

"Of course kyo what are friends for."

Naruto's jaw fell to the floor.

Shikamaru shook his head knowing that choji would let kyo have some.

"No fair" naruto whined.

Kyo then walked back to naruto and shikamaru and held out her hand to naruto.
