Chapter 10

The three ninja's walked into the foreign village to be greeted by two young, female ninja guards. "Hello Homura-chan! How are you?" They asked simultaneously. "Great! How are you Kiri-chan? Kuri-chan?" Homura asked hugging them happily. "Great! We're your escorts to the Mizukage's office" they said gesturing the men to follow them. The two men stood shell-shocked for a few minutes before following noting how nearly everyone seemed to know who Homura was.

"Hey Kid! When we get home you are explaining got it!" Ikibi said as a large blue ninja came up to them. "Hello Homura-chan. How are you?" He asked. "Very good Kisame-Kun! How is Kakudo?" She asked. "Um~ well..." He said rubbing his head. She kicked his shin. "Hey! Ow~. I'm trying I swear!" He said picking her up and leaving the four others behind. "Does that happen often?" Shikaku asked. The two women nodded and gestured them to continue following.

"You've had years! And still nothing!" Homura whined. "Yeah I know! I know! Geez kid I didn't know little girls where supposed to weigh 100 pounds!" He whined back. "It's the metal bands Ikibi-sensei makes me wear. You should be happy to be getting a work out" she replied sassily. "Hey! This trip can go from free to you-owe-me-dangoes" he replied just as sassily. She laughed and waved to different people in the crowd.

"You still gonna go though with your plan?" Kisame asked as they sat down for food. "Yep! Hopefully I can visit a bit more often once I start!" Homura replied happily. He rolled his eyes "and what about this twin brother of yours?". "He'll be taking care of properly or someone will endure my... Displeasure" she said darkly. He gulped and nodded, "who can be scary sometimes ya know". She just smiled sweetly and ordered lunch.

~At the Mizukage's office

"This is all we can offer" Ikibi said as the Mizukage nodded. "I was told that there would be three" she said. "Yes Homura is with a ninja of yours" Shikaku said. "Oh! Homura-chan is the third ninja? I do hope she visits me up here soon!" The Mizukage said clapping her hands. Ikibi and Shikaku let their jaws drop. "Yes! Yes! Homura-chan visit about once a year for the past three now. She is adorable and everyone loves her. She spends most of her time with Kisame-San though, him and Kakudo" Mei said smiling that them. "I really need to remember to keep a leash on the kid" Ikibi muttered.

"Back to the subject at hand. I agree with all terms and conditions and I expect to see your end of the deal kept up" Mei said and the men bowed out. "Now the troublesome deed of finding Homura in the middle of the night" Shikaku sighed. "Hey! You two where with Homura-chan weren't you?" A ninja asked walking up to them. "Yes. Thank you for keeping her busy all day" Ikibi said taking the sleeping girl out of the others hands. "I fully expect a rematch" Kisame said. Ikibi smirked and said "it's your fault we didn't finish it. You're the one ran away". "I didn't run away. I hastily retreated" Kisame growled. "Quit it both of you" Homura muttered. Shikaku snickered and the other two smiled at her. "Ok! Let's go to the hotel" Ikibi said walking away.

The three left early next morning and arrived in their home village about three days later.

"How'd it go?" The Hokage asked as the entered his office. "Just fine Hokage-sama" Shikaku sighed. "Homura please excuse us for a bit" The Hokage said. "Hai Hokage-sama" she said skipping out and down the road.

She ran into Itachi as she wondered around. "Hello Homura-chan. How are you?" He asked. "Just fine! How are you Itachi-Kun!" She replied as they walked into a Dango shop. "Where were you for the past week?" He asked after they had ordered. "Secret! I'm not allowed to say!" She giggled. He nodded as someone called out "Homura-chan! How are you?". "Hello Tenzou-Kun! How are you?" She replied hugging her friend. "Tenzou you are such a pedo!" A voice giggled. "Wha? No I'm not! Me and Homura-chan are friends! That's it Koji-chan!" Tenzou said stamping his foot. Homura rolled her eyes and giggled, it had long been noticeable how much one side loved the other and back again. Itachi also rolled his eyes and started eating.

"When are you joining the academe Honura-chan?" All three asked at the same time. "Early next year. Sensei has a few more things to teach me and then I'm free to do what I like" she replied. Itachi nodded. "It's not gonna be easy-". "Yes it will. I've snuck into one of those classes and they are way too easy~ it's kind of embarrassing" she said cutting Tenzou off. He nodded surprised and walked off beckoning Koji to follow.
