Naruto: Rewritten

Chapter 24

Homura walked through the streets with Naruto, Gaara, Kiba and Akamaru. "You know what you three need? A bath!!!" She cried dragging them down to the hot springs, with the pup barking happily. She had, of course, been meaning to go down to relax, but seeing as these three seem to be dogging her, she might as well bring them along. They walked in and she asked how many rooms spare there where.

"Just one ma'am. Should I put you down for it?" The receptionist asked. "Um... Yeah sure. I trust this lot" Homura said looking directly at the small puppy with large, pleading eyes. "Ok! And sorry to inform you but all but one gender separate hot springs are under construction. Only mixed baths are available for a the next mouth and right now the only one not under construction is full" she said. Homura ground and the boys went pink. "Fine! But if you guys get any ideas I'll kill you. Slowly" Homura said as they were shown their room. It was very nice with a small garden and a vice view of the Hokage Mountain, as well as a decent living area and closed off bedrooms. "And sorry, but there are only two bedrooms" the girl said walking off.

'And that how I got stuck in a bath with three guys and a dog!' Homura told herself as the guys all talked about the Chūnin exams. "You guys are so lucky and strong! I wish I coulda beat you" Kiba whined as Akamaru yawned from up on his head. "Yeah I'm just too strong!!!" Naruto shouted standing up. "Cover up Baka! I don't need to lose my sight just yet!" Homura cried putting her hands over her eyes. She heard a splash and removed her hands. She had, of course, sunk low enough for the to not see anything and had made them close their eyes and turn around before coming out.

She felt something staring at her and she turned around and half raised herself from the water. The cold air felt nice on her warm, wet back as the stared at the bamboo wall. "What is it?" Gaara asked. "I felt something watching us" she said. "You probably shocked them. Seeing as you are naked"he said as she crossed her arms over he chest and blushed. "Damn you Gaara-Kun" she said batting her eyelashes. "Don't call me that" he grunted giving her a pointed stare.

"Alright! I'm good and soggy! Turn around or I'll rip your eyes out!" Homura said clicking her fingers. Each boy turned to face the opposite wall as she scampered out and wrapped her towel around her body tightly. "Bye boys~!" She called walking out and winking at them. She ran into their room and quickly put in her robe. It was a cool blue with dark green ferns decorating the bottom of it. 'Showing a bit of chest never hurt anyone right?' She asked herself as she noticed none of the fit quick right, always leaving a bit if chest in the open. She sighed and ordered dinner as she felt the boys would be back soon.

Kiba and Akamaru came back first and Gaara returned soon after. "Where is Naruto?" Homura asked, as both stared at her. "He left with some guy who offered to train him. I think he called the guy 'Pervey-sage'" Kiba said shaking his head and going into a room to change. There was a knock on the door as he came out with his robe's sleeves rolled up to his shoulders. Gaara walked into the room and I answered the door. "You meal ma'am. I do hope you enjoy!" The young woman said brining in the food and placing it on the table as Gaara came out, with half his robe hanging off of him and making the girl blush crimson and scamper out of the room. "Dude!! She has half our food!" Homura whined. "Oh. Sorry. It's just a warm night" he said. She sighed and went to retrieve the rest of the food.

They ate in a relaxing silence, with Akamaru breaking it occasionally to whine for some more meat, which Homura gave him each and every time. "So.. What are you going to do once we leave here?" Kiba asked. "I'll make sure I can calm down my.. Erm.. Powers in case I kill someone, and I'll see if I can get any sleep" Gaara said eating his rice in small amounts. "I'll train and get plenary of rest too. Oh and I've got something to help you sleep!" She said turning to her bag next to her. She pulled out a cool green necklace with a thick black string and a sliver top to connect the two.

"It's a Starlight Emerald. They help the stressed sleep and are proven to work with all people. When the small electric blue flecks light up it means it's working. But since you haven't slept in a while don't put it in till your ready for bed" Homura said handing it to him. "Thank you. I'm gonna go and relax on the roof for a bit." Gaara said as he rose up and walked out. "That's cool! Where'd you get it?" Kiba asked catching her attention. "I found it and carved it for him. I promised a while ago to help him with his sleep. I keep my word" she said as he pulling out something from his bag.

"This is a good luck charm. I won't be around forever, nether of us will so could you wear it? It'll make me feel better with some of the creeps in that exam" Kiba said pulling out a gently woven, golden bracelet with a small carved dog on it. "Sure thing! It looks so pretty!" Homura said as he clipped it onto her wrist. He was suddenly next to her, resting his forehead on hers. "I know you can look after yourself, but know I will always come to your side, even if you don't need me. I won't ever leave you. I promise" he whispered, making her go slightly red. She nodded "I understand... And I will too. I'll help you whenever you need it, you may not always see me but I'll be there".

"Good! Now go to bed! You start training tomorrow, and we'll stay here as long as we can. Your gonna need a place to relax everyday" he said picking her up and putting her in a room. "Goodnight Homura" he said. "Goodnight Kiba. You too Gaara!" She said loud enough for the boy on the roof to hear. "Goodnight. I'm going to test this now" he said coming back inside and slipping in onto his neck and stumbling into his and Kiba's room.
