Chapter 21

Homura stood by her teams gate, number 24. "You know the plan. Get our scroll and get to the tower. Make your mark" Homura said smirking. The other two nodded and the gate opened they raced in and ran into an obstacle almost instantly. A giant tiger. Jūka cleared his throat and made some hand signs. He ran at the tiger and touched it's head. The tiger calmed and allowed them on it's back and they rode it to the tower. "Ok. Give me your arms" Kura commanded. The other two held them out. "Tracking jutsu!" He muttered placing his hand on their arms. "This way we can communicate. If you get the scroll flick your arms and we'll meet here. Now our plan begins" he said as we grabbed our arms. They spread out and Homura went looking for an easy target.

Homura landed on a tree branch as a team of Mist Gennin landed in a clearing. She saw a chip on the ground and guessed Choji was there. She cleared her throat and the team looked up at her. "What scroll do you gentlemen have?" She asked politely. "Earth. What about you?" The asked getting into a defensive stances. "Earth. Now shoo. Before I change my mind" she said smiling wickedly. They left and she walked over to the chip. "Come out I know you're there" she said. "You're scary Homura-San! I don't wanna!" Choji said as I'm guessing Ino hit him. "Heaven?" She asked. "No!!! Yes? Maybe?" Ino said hurriedly.

Homura rolled her eyes and left. Looking for a less talkative enemy. "I really want to fight Neji. Or Lee. But with my luck they have an Earth scroll" Homura muttered. "That is where you are wrong!!" Lee shouted tackling me to the ground. "Get off!!!! I no wanna her raped!" She screamed. Lee stood up instantly with a slight blush on his cheeks. "Fight me? Please? I wanna see if I've gotten any better" she pleaded as he got into a defensive stance. "Lee. Homura. Quit it!" Tenten called from a tree. Homura whined and Lee went up the tree. "We're not gonna fight you. Today" Neji said. Homura sighed and walked off.

Naruto and Sasuke asleep. Sakura had taken the first night shift. Three Sound ninja where stalking them. "Simple really. Send a sleeping tag at the boys and attack the girl" one ninja said. The other two nodded and sent a kuni with a tag on it down into the midst of the camp. Sakura was stunned and got ready to attack. One ninja kicked her in the gut. She crashed into a nearby tree. "Now girly. Give us the scroll, and we might let you live" the tallest said smirking cruelly at her. "Never! I am a Hidden Leaf Kunoichi! I will not let you defeat me!" Sakura cried bravely. "Oh? Is that so? Then take this!" The other male said punching her and sending her through the tree. She coughed up some blood and stood ready for attack.

Suddenly a green thing jumped in front of her and blocked an attack easily. "I will not allow you to harm Sakura-chan! For I have promised to protect anyone precious to Homura-chan!" The person said. "Lee?!? What are you doing?" Sakura asked. "Did you not hear me? Now what are you going to use against the Green Beast of the Leaf?" He asked the ninja. "Sound wave!" The guy with bandages cried going to punch lee, who blocked it. "Your Taijutsu is weak. You will not defe-" Lee started as a blast of supersonic sound waves hit his inner eardrum. Blood ran down the side of his face and he collapsed to his knees. "Lee!?!?" Sakura asked running to his aid. She got held back by the female of the attackers group holding into her pink hair. "What lovely silky hair! Maybe if you took as much care of your jutsu as you do your hair you wouldn't be watching him die!" The girl crackled. Lee got up and sent a flurry of kicks and punches at his attacker. Each and everyone hit it's desired mark and the ninja was sent flying. The other sent sound waves at Lee knocking him to the ground.

"Lee!!! Get up!! Please!" Sakura pleaded. No response. Sakura pulled out a kuni and held it ready for attack. "Silly girl! Don't you know that's not gonna work in me. Much less those two!" The female scolded. "It's not meant for you!" Sakura cried as she sliced through her beautiful pink hair. She stood up and attacked the girl. Knocking her out. She then went for the tallest using shadow clones she attacked relentlessly. She finally held down the guy, by butting his arm and digging kuni into his body. He managed to free one arm and was punching her without any sign of letting up. Three ninja in a nearby bush shuffled silently, uncomfortable.

"Ino are we gonna help her or not?" Shikamaru asked his blonde teammate. "I don't know! I want to! But I don't want to!" Ino whispered back. They looked up just as Sakura got punched off the Sound Nin and was being attacked again. "Ino. Yes or No? Now!" Shikamaru asked. Ino looked back and forth. 'Either escape and fight another day or help Sakura? I hate that I'm doing this!' She thought standing up and running over to the Ninja hurting her friend. She pulled her arm back and punched him. Her two team members quickly followed and stood defensively waiting for an attack. It came and soon the three stood beaten and dirty struggling to stay on their feet.

"That's enough! Stand down before I make you!" A ninja barks from above. The four conscious ninja looked up to see the redheaded ninja, Homura Nameikaze. "Who are you? And I'd like to see you try!" The female cried at her. Homura jumped down and walked over to the four Ninja. "You've done well, but let me deal with this. You need rest" she said handing Sakura her Earth scroll. "Take care of it and I'll win you theirs" she said as Sakura nodded. Homura turned to face the attackers to find one on their way to kill the unconscious boys. She ran towards him and punched him back. She cracked her knuckles and walked over to him. "Now. How'd you like to play a game? It's rather simple. I attack, you run away leaving your scroll behind. Or you don't run away and I kill you" she whispered into his ear. "I will not bow down to you. I will complete my mission from The Master! The Container will die!" The nin spat at her. "Shishigan: fire mode" Homura said hands melting into a hand sign.
