Naruto: Rewritten

Chapter 40

The hatred boiled over in Naruto, he couldn't believe his ears.

"I'm sorry Naruto, but I can't lie to you" The man before him said sadly. Naruto shook slightly. His sadness fuelled the Kyuubi, and with out warning he took over, pushing Naruto into his mind.

"Naruto release me, I will make him pay" the Kyuubi purred. "Then we'll go after Homura?" Naruto asked, raged fuelled him on. The Kyuubi sighed, "yes Naruto, I will go after her" The Kyuubi replied.

Naruto nodded allowing the water surrounding the cage to lift him up. Naruto held his arm out and ripped off the tag to reveal a lock. A force pulled him back onto the watery ground. He looked up at the force and his eyes widened.

"W-what are you doing here?"

Homura watched as the Nin obeyed her commands, Zetsu and Itachi had even showed up to the group.

"Alright! Kisame, Itachi! You both need to go to the east and defend the village from that area! Zetsu could you pin point the attacker? Pein-Sama and Konan-Sama please search for lost civilians and make sure they get to safety! Deidara and Hidan please go to the hospital and make sure no gets attacked" she commanded, they all nodded and jumped off the the destinations.

Homura speed away to the west side where the attacks where less heavy and skidded to a halt there. Neji, Tenten, Lee, Kiba and Shino where all there but Tenten was down, Shino and Neji where almost out of Chakra and Kiba was severely wounded, only Lee seemed ok, but she could tell he had suffered from some sort of internal damage.

"YOU LOT!! GET DOWN!" She yelled activating her Shishigan. They all hit the floor and she smashed her fist into the earth, creating a giant wall, she quickly changed the element to air and created a tornado on the other side of the wall.

She ran over and started healing as quickly as she could. Once she finished Kiba nearly squeezed the life out of her.

"I thought you where dead" he mumbled. "I'm sorry, I lost my head for a second but I'm back to normal now" Homura mumbled back. "Good" he said sending her a crooked half smile.

"Hey! Middle of a war here! Save it for later!" Tenten said, causing them to break apart and blush madly.

"I'm here because you're my son" Minato said as Naruto's eyes widened. "I-I'm your son? B-but Homura-" Naruto started. "Ah~ Homura, tell me she looks like you're mother" Minato said smiling at the roof. "I-I don't know" Naruto replied. "Ah~ I see, Homura took responsibility for my Legacy right? She's such a brave kid. I ca honestly say I'm so proud of both of you" Minato replied, beaming proudly.

"Why'd you leave? Did Homura really-" Naruto could bare to say it. "Huh? No! We died maybe a few hours after you where both born! We died protecting you and the village!" Minato cried, hitting Naruto's head. Naruto nodded, tears of relief and happiness pouring down his face.

"Now, I don't want this thing to go on a rampage, let's control him" Minato said pointing his thumb at the caged fox. Naruto nodded, standing in a defensive stance.

They quickly preformed a sealing jutsu and the fox calmed down. ((To lazy to write the hole thing)).

"Naruto, could you tell Homura that I'll hunt that boy to the grave if he breaks her heart" Minato said with a large smile on his face. "Will do Tou-San" Naruto said saluting and dispelling himself from his mind.

Homura watched him horror as the Kyuubi smashed around, destroying everything in his path. Suddenly, like the feeling of being his with a Kunai, she fell forward. She was caught by Kiba, who was standing next to her at the time.

"Are you ok?" Kiba asked. "Fine, just used a bit too much Chakra" Homura replied, panting heavily. They both turned to watch the Fox when suddenly it disappeared and Naruto appeared, looking very calm.

"Why is he so calm?" Homura asked, eyes widening slightly. "That's a good question" Kiba whispered back. "Let's get a closer look" She said. "Ok, but get on my back, you're still weak from the last fight" Kiba replied kneeling in front of her. She nodded and climbed onto his back and he took off.

They arrived at the battle field to see Naruto use the Rasengan against the hooded man, knocking him back and making him disappear in a cloud of smoke. Naruto roared in anger as Homura felt the enemy's chakra flee.

Homura jumped from Kiba's back and ran down to meet him. He turned to see her and pulled her into a hug. "Dad said if Kiba breaks your heart he'll hunt him to the grave" Naruto whispered into Homura's ear. She gasped, then felt her eyes well up with tears. She hugged him back, crying into his shoulder.

The village sent up a wave of cheers as the three ninja appeared in front of it. Kiba, supporting a near dead Homura and Naruto waving and receiving the bulk of the cheers. They jumped down and Kiba carried Homura down to the Hospital, nodding to the two ninja guarding the hospital.
