Chapter 45

Kisame happily walked into the Leaf Village. Zabuza walked briskly behind him, his bandaged mask left in his home.

"Papa!!"
"Daddy!!!"

Two little brunettes came running up to their fathers. Homura watching from where her team stood. The brunettes talked happily to their respective father for a second before turning to the redhead.

"Thank you Homura-Nee!!" They cried together, hugging the 19-year-old's legs. "You're welcome to stay a while. I'm sure you're tired and I can arrange someplace for you to sleep" Homura offered, smiling at the two straight-faced nin. Both looked at each other, then at the road; judging whether or not to take the offer.

"I gotta go.... You know Mei. We kinda just up and left" Zabuza sighed, beckoning Haku to follow him. "Kakudo may not look like it but she packs a punch..... I gotta go too" Kisame chuckled, rubbing the back of his head sheepishly. Homura smiled and nodded in understanding. She waved goodbye to the two before turning back to her team.

Naruto was watching Zabuza with distrusting eyes.
Kakashi looked impressed with Homura friends.
Sakura looked indifferent, and simply waved goodbye to Tsudera and Haku cheerfully.
Sasuke was also slightly impressed but was trying to mask it.

Homura rolled her eyes and walked off to her home, wanting a nice bath and a decent sleep.

Homura slid down the trunk of the tree, exhausted and covered in little beads of sweat. She panted a second looking up at her sparing partner.

"Fuck you Ibiki-Sensei" she panted. The elder nin just chuckled darkly. "Just because I trained you doesn't mean I'm gonna go easy on you! If fact it gives me absolute right to be extra mean to you" Ibiki chuckled darkly.

Homura stuck her tongue out at him, before bursting into laughter. "You old coot. Acting like you aren't exhausted too" Homura said, flashing a cheeky eye twinkle at her first sensei. "Did you just call me an old coot?" Ibiki asked. Homura sent a cheeky grin at him. Ibiki seethed at her and started attacking the redhead again, to which she dodged every attack.

Zetsu's arms where tied above his head. Their stomach ached dully and their eyelids where too heavy to open. But they could tell they was vertical and against a wall, their feet weren't anywhere near the floor. They forced themselves to open their eyes and where starring right into bright yellow ones.

"Kabuto" White Zetsu spat at the sickly pale man. They could see the little scars from where Homura had destroyed his eyes.

"HOW!?! I KILLED YOU!!" Zetsu roared. "Sometimes a spy can a double-spy" a husky voice replied.

Out of the shadows a familiar figure appeared, his green and red eyes shining triumphantly. "Kakuzu? Why?" Zetsu asked, their body falling limp against the chains. "I think our little brat needs one more reminder that we are in control sire" Kakuzu replied, a smirk dying in his mask.

"What do you propose?" Kabuto asked Kakuzu whispered something into his ear, gesturing to Zetsu. Their eyes grew wide and they struggled against their chains.

Homura stroked Kiba's brown hair, smiling at him. He had his eyes closed and let her blabber on about her week.

"-and guess what?!" She asked. "What?" He asked, his lips quirking upwards. "Us and The Rain Village are officially allies!! Now I can go see Pein-Sama and Konan-Sama more often!" Homura replied happily. Kiba's smile grew wider. "That's great! They are really strong and so will strengthen us!" Kiba replied, almost as happily.

Homura opened her mouth to say something but was cut off by a screech. A foreign owl stood on the widow seat a large box clamped onto it's leg. Homura stood up and walked over to the bird, who clicked it's beak defiantly.

Homura removed the box from the bird and tore off the note on top of it:

Stop interfering with my work.
Otherwise the next person will have even less then this one.

The Master.

Homura gulped uneasily and opened the box, instantly dropping it as soon as she saw what was in it.

With a heavy thud the thing rolled out of the box and left a trail of dark blood on the floor.

Kiba looked up at the this and gulped, he recognised the thing and ran over to Homura, who was weeping into her hands.

Pein sat in his office looking out at the miserable weather. He heard the door pop open and he turned to see Koran walking towards him, a thick box in her hands.

"You need to see this" she replied, putting the box on his desk and leaving the room. Pein watched her leave before grabbing the note.

I will attack The Leaf in 20 days. If you are still allies with them this will be you, your little blue-haired Bitch and your child. Be careful on what you choose.

The Master.

Pein gulped and thought on his young daughter. He opened the box and almost puked. There was another note in the box and he pulled it out, blood covering his hand.

The little Redhead has the other half.

Kakuzu.

Pein looked at the black half of his friend's head. He wiped away a tear and sighed.

"Konan!! Get Mikurye and come here!! We have something to talk about!!" Pein called. He received a "yes honey" back and he closed the box.

'Poor Homura... she'll be heartbroken. Kiba might not be able to handle her breakdown' he thought pressing his fingers together.

His blue-haired young girl came skipping into the room, swiftly followed by his slightly pregnant wife. "What's da matter papa?" Mikurye asked. "You and mummy need to go to Konoha for papa and give this to Tsunade-Sama. Ok sweetie? And you need to stay with Homura-Nee ok?" Pein asked, sifting his gaze from the horrid box to his daughter.

"Ok papa!!" Mikurye replied happily. "Just one last thing for papa. Give daddy a smile please?" Pein asked. Mikurye's smile melted his heart and made his next move a little less to deal with.

"Papa loves you ok?"
"OK!!!!!!"
