Chapter 4

The five-year-old red-head that was waiting outside the head interrogators office got a few weird looks all of which she smiled warmly back. "Why! hello Homura! How are you?" The third Hokage asked. "Very good Hokage-sama! How are you?" She replied, jumping up and hugging him. "Old and crippled but otherwise healthy" he replied with a smile. "How is he?" Homura asked. "Very good and neck-deep in trouble again" the old man replied. She smiled. She cared very much for her little brother: Naruto. "Who are you with?" Surutobi asked. "Ikibi-Sensei! He wants to teach me a new jutsu but only after his is finished doing something" The girl chirped. "Hello! Homura! Oh hello Hokage-Sama" a voice called. "Hello tenzou-kun! How are you?" The girl asked waving her hand at one of her friends she had made. "Shouldn't you be in the hospital?" Surutobi asked. "Why are you supposed to be in the hospital?" Homura asked sternly. "Sometimes being a ANBU means getting really hurt. So hurt that the victim suffers internal bleeding" he said sheepishly. She rolled her eyes. "Go back to the hospital before you die" she said pointing in the general direction of the hospital.

Waving to both men as they turned the corner she turned back to her book. "Lets go squirt. Time for training" her sensei said. "So Jutsu time?" She asked. "Nope! Just training" he said smirking. She groaned "sensei! That's mean!". He just chuckled and started walking.

Once they arrived at training ground 14 Ikibi pulled out some mental bands and placed them around her ankles, her thighs, forearms, biceps and waist. "These are weights. Each is approximately 3 kilos. Which means you are carrying approximately 27 extra Kilos of weight. It will help you become stronger and faster and as you get older and stronger the weights become heavier. Understood?" Ikibi informed. She nodded. "Now in two hours I'm leaving for a mission. I'll be back in a week I expect by that time you'll not even notice the weights" he said marking a line with his foot. "Now that you have them on. start here and run to that tree and back 25 times" he said pointing at the tree furthest away. Sighing Homura started running. slowly at first until she was gradually getting back to her normal speed.

Ikibi finally let Homura go she went for some Ichiraku ramen. "Hello Homura-chan!" The old man said as she wondered it. "Hello sir! How are you?" She asked as she sat down. "Very good! What would you like?" He asked. "just a medium bowl of beef Ramen please!" She chirped placing some money on the table. 3 minutes later someone else came in the shop. "Hey old man! The usual please!" Came the voice of the blond haired boy. "Hello Naruto! It'll be there in a minute" Ichiraku called from the kitchen. "Thanks!" The kid called back sitting next to Homura. "I'm Naurto Uzumuki! Who are you?" He asked holding up a hand. She shook it without hesitation. "Homura Nameikaze" Homura said shyly.

And your twin sister. you look so much like dad.

"N-Nameikaze? You're the 4 Hokage's daughter!" He exclaimed as she started eating my ramen. She nodded "nice to meet you Naruto! What do you want to do when you grow up?" The girl asked.

I've already heard all about it.

"I'm gonna be the greatest Hokage that ever lived! Even better then your dad! Then everyone will stop ignoring me and start looking up to me!" He half-shouted.

I know the feeling bro.

"Cool! Good luck! Where are your parents?" She asked.

Dead because they are mine as well.

"I don't know Homura they aren't around. I think they are dead" he said eyes downcast and shadowed. "I think they didn't like me and left me all alone" he said again. "No way! Who would leave someone as cool as you all alone?" She half-shouted.

They died for us and the village.

"Y-you think I'm cool?" He asked. "Yeah of corse! Why wouldn't I?" She asked. "Because they think I'm a monster" he said pointing at the outside world.

I want to kill them for that little bro but I can't I promised dad to keep you safe.

"Well Naruto I must take my leave! I would love for you to accompany me for some tea at my house" she said holding out a piece of paper with her address on it. "Come anytime you want if I'm not there I'll leave a note" she said smiling at her brother. "Sure thing! Thank you! Can we be friends?" He asked. "That's why I'm doing this teme~" she said walking out. "HEY DATTEBAYO! DON'T CALL ME TEME!" he shouted at her retreating back. She smirked.

Sure thing Naruto. Anything to see you smile little bro.

A/N: I'm, as you can see, gonna try and write in third person from now on. To cover every aspect. And just some pointers.
1 The Akatsuki isn't formed in this story but the 'villain' that is trying to collect the tailed beats is a member of the Akatsuki in the show and manga
2 Orchimaru is still in the village and the curse mark doesn't exist
3 I may mess up some ages just to mess with any hard core Naruto fans. May being the word to focus on.
