Naruto: Rewritten

Chapter 6

Homura was flying threw the trees with three different shinobi close behind. "Where are you sensei?" She whispered taking a sharp left and speeding away from the village. She managed to lose them and headed back to where her sensei's Chakra was. She sense another two chakra's and approached cautiously.

Her sensei was battling a blue man, and a young ninja was watching close by in a lot of danger of getting in the crossfire. Sighing Homura silently leapt down to her a gently grabbed her hand and without a word tried to take her to safety. "Wait! Kisame is still fighting!" The young woman said trying to shake the younger one off. "Please miss if you stay here you will get hurt. Kisame will be fine I promise" Homura said gently pulling on her arm.

She pulled her to a nearby town and said "stay here I'm going to see if Kisame and Ikibi-sensei are all right. Ok miss?" she asked the older woman. "Kakudo" the elder woman said nodding. "Ok miss Kakudo I'll be back soon as I can. My name is Homura" the younger promised heading back out into the trees.

When she got back to the battle scene the trees for a couple of square miles where all uprooted and broken. The two shinobi's where very low on chakra and where both injured. But from the angel that she was at she couldn't tell if they where sever injuries. "Come on sensei! Don't die on me" she whispered as the two figures fought fiercely. Suddenly the large of the two figures threw a kunai and smoke erupted around them. She felt one chakra moving rapidly away and she sensed her sensei lose continuous. Sighing she jumped down and called "Zetsu! I know you are here! Come and help me please!". "Well well what do ya know! the kid is smart" they said emerging from a tree. "Can you please help me by taking sensei back to the hotel?" She asked the black and white man. He nodded and picked him up. "No eating my sensei! He needs every last limb!" She warned. He chuckled and nodded sinking into the ground.

She went flying though the trees looking for the blue mans' chakra. She finally found it at a rocky edge.

'Damn that stupid konoha nin!' He thought as his eyes began to droop 'I gotta finish the damn mission and make sure Kakudo and the others didn't die'. As his eyes started to close he saw a bright red fuzzy blob in the corner of his eye. Smiling slightly he shut his blue eyes and fell into a light slumber. Homura was working on his larger cuts on his face and arms. She let him sleep knowing it would help him replenish his chakra. She smeared some purple medicine on some of the smaller scratches. Before sitting down and looking out at the valley.

He peeled open his eyes and took a quick look around before finding the fuzzy red blob again. "Hello my name is Homura Namikaze! I'm here to take you back to Kakudo" the blob said. "Kisame. Did you tend to my wounds?" He asked. The little girl smiled up at him nodding. "Did you say your last name was Nameikaze?" He asked. She nodded shyly not sure where this was going. "The fourth Hokage of the leaf's daughter?" He asked, while she nodded again. He whistled "that's quite a status you got there kid". "Come on Kisame-kun! We need to get you to Kakudo!" She said trying to pull him up. "I need to finish an mission first" he said getting up "I've got to kill a man called Gato". "I'll go with you! I promised Kakudo that I'd bring you back to her!" The girl said as he smirked. "Got a thing with keeping your word?" He asked. "No but someone very important to me does. I want to be more like him" she said sadly. "H-hey! Don't go crying on me now!" He shouted sweat dropping. She nodded and they continued their journey.

30 minutes later and they where outside the hideout trying to figure out what method of infiltration to use. "I got it! You can be a guard that found me and have no idea what to do with me!" Homura said and Kisame nodded. 'Hm. Smart like the father. But that is defiantly Kushina's hair and eyes' he thought as he transformed into a simple guard. He gently tied her hand together and walked down to the gates. "Stop! Who goes there?" One of the guards ask. "Found dis little beast sayin dat she wanted to see da master. Thought she could see 'im in chains" Kisame said grinning nastily. "Then take her in but don't expect anything other then a bloody mess" the second guard said grinning back.

They walked up to the hideout and walked through the doors. They walked up to some very fancy doors and Kisame knocked. "Enter!" Barked a loud voice. "Gato! I found dis little beast sayin she wanted to see ya. Thought you'd might like to meet 'er in chains" he said pushing her roughly to his feet. His chubby hand flew out and grabbed her chin forcing her to look upwards and at his face. "Well, well ain't you a long way from home Namikaze" Gato said turning her face over and smiling evilly. "I think you'll be very useful in the future." He said. She sent spit flying at him "asshole". Kisame had to suppress a grin and a chuckle. 'Good one' he thought. Gato reached out and backhanded her across the face. "You need your manners checked girl!" He spat at her. "Thank you for brining her here now GET LOST!" He screeched at Kisame. "I don't think so" he said releasing the transformation and grabbing his katana. He then slit Gato's throat and untied the girl.

"You got him mad~" he said in a sing-song voice once they where nearing the village in which Kakudo was waiting. "Kisame!" Kakudo shouted running up to him and hugging him. "Oh thank Kami! I thought you where dead!" She said hugging him tighter. "Hey! I'm ok! I'm ok! I'm not going anywhere too soon" he chuckled patting the top of her head affectionately. "Thank you Homura! You brought him back!" Kakudo said hugging the little girl tightly once she let go of Kisame. "You're very welcome Kakudo. But I must get going my sensei should be coming around by now" she said happily. Once the older woman let her go she disappeared in a cloud of smoke leaving behind a little note:

Keep in touch I want to be friends

"Whatever you say Homura" he chuckled walking back inside.

Homura finally managed to get back to the hotel and get into her sensei's room to find him sleeping peacefully and his wounds taken care of. "Thank you Zatsu!" She whispered crawling up in a ball next to her sensei's sleeping form. Who wrapped around her in his sleep.
