Homura stretched her arms as she walked along the sandy beach. 'Just 6 more mouths, then I'll be home' she thought looking up at the sky. "I'm sorry it took so long Jūgo. But today I'll finish you wish-list today" she whispered as the clouds passed the early morning sun. She continued walking finding a small hill and sitting down. "After this I'm going to go to visit the Mizukage and see her new child" she told the sky. "Look, I think she's crazy! Black Zetsu! Stop being mean!" Voices said making Homura look around. "Hey Zetsu, and I'm not crazy!" She said pouting and looking back up at the sky. "You're talking to the sky. I think that's a little bit crazy" Black Zetsu replied as they sat down.

They both watched the sky in silence.
Watching the sky turn from its early morning purples, blues, reds and pinks to it's midday fluffy white clouds and back to it's afternoon purples, blues, reds and pinks. Homura didn't break her stare once, and often pointed out shapes to Zetsu, who had kept a steady conversation up with himself. Homura watched the sun slowly sink into the water as the day finally died. "You wasted an entire day you know" Zetsu said together. "I know, but I've only got a few mouths left so I wanted to do this" she said gathering her things and walking up to the village.

They walked into the inn that Homura was staying at. "Homura-chan, we want to say we are officially-shut up Black Zetsu- sorry for your loss" they said. Homura giggled at their argument and nodded. "Thank you Zetsu, it means a lot" she said bowing at them. "So October the 10th is home day?" Zetsu asked sitting down in the floor. "Yep. I wonder how much everyone is grown" Homura said sitting on her bed and staring out at the starry sky. "I'm sure they'll be kind. I'm also sure you're the one whose changed the most" Zetsu said smiling at her. "I've made a fair few friends. I'm gonna hit the hay so I can get to The Mist Village by midday" Homura said lying down and closing her eyes, slowly falling into a deep sleep as Zetsu hummed a tune.

Homura arrived on the outskirts of The Hidden Mist. "Wow. Kinda feels good to be back here, not on business" she muttered walking down to the village. She walked up to the gate and met a familiar face. "Hello Homura! How are you?" Zabuza asked smiling at her. "Hey Zabuza, I'm good. How is the Mizukage?" She asked smiling back. "Oh fine! Just a bit crabby but nothing I can't handle" he said rubbing the back of his head. "Girl or boy?" Homura asked. "Beautiful baby girl. Her name is Aka, coz she has red hair" he replied. Homura giggled and walked into the gates. "I'll see you later Zabuza!" She called back running down the streets.

She ran to the Mizukage tower and walked up to the office. She knocked once and the door flew open. "Homura-chan!!!!! How are you?!?!" The Mizukage cried pulling her into a bone crushing hug. "Mizukage-Sama you're strangling me!" Homura choked out. "Please don't call me that off duty! Just call me Mei" she said smiling widely. "Ok Mei, how is Little Aka?" Homura asked. "Oh! Just fine, but I berely get any rest now" Mei moaned sitting down in her chair. "The joy of kids Mei, the joy of kids" Homura giggled. "Shut up! I know that already!" Mei hissed as Homura continued to giggle. They both enjoyed a relaxing evening eating dangos and drinking tea as the sun set behind them. Homura played with Aka for a while and Mei feed her twice always saying that when Homura had kids she'll be just as exhausted as she was. Homura replied both times with "I ain't having kids!".

"Just 4 mouths to the day. Where are you going now?" Zetsu asked as Homura marched through some bushes. "To visit an old friend. Ah~ here it is! The Great Uzamaki Bridge!" Homura replied walking up to the bridge. "Uzamaki? You mean like that blond brat Uzamaki?" Zetsu asked. "He isn't a brat! He is a great person!" Homura cried glaring at Zetsu. "Ok! Ok! We get it!" They said raising their hands. "Good! Now on to see Tazuna!" She cried running onto the empty bridge.

Homura quickly crossed the bridge and walked into the, now, lively little village. She smiled warmly at the villagers who smiled back. She kept walking through the village until she came to a festival centre. "Wow!" She breathed looking around. "Hey!!! Homura!!! Why are you here?!?" A voice called pushing it's way through the crowd. "Inari?" Homura asked as the kid appeared in front of her. "Yeah! Is Naruto with you? Sakura and Sasuke as well?" He asked beaming up at the redhead. "Nah, here by myself, how is your mother and Tazuna?" She asked patting his head. "They're fine! Why are you here?" He asked pulling her along to a food stand. "Oh I'm on temporary leave, I'll be back in the village in four months" she replied buying some sweet food for them both.

"Oh, ok. How is Naruto?" Inari asked. "Dunno, haven't seen him in 5 years" Homura shrugged taking a bite from her snack. "5 years!!! Did you detach from your village?!?!" He asked gawking at her. "No! Temporary leave!! I'm going back!" Homura said whacking his head. "O-ow~ that hurt!!" He whined. "So what you been doing?" Homura asked. "I've been learning how to build all sorts of things!! Granddad's been teaching me!" He said beaming at the elder woman. "That's great Inari! You'll be a great builder!" She said patting the brunette's head. "Thanks!" He said hugging her.

Homura beamed at him and continued eating her snack. "Ya know you can come to The Leaf anytime ya want right?" She asked. "Re-really?" Inari asked beaming up at her. "Really. So now that Gato is outta the way, are you all doing ok?" She asked. "Yeah! People are calling me a hero! Are you gonna stay for a while?" He asked. "Yeah, don't see why not. Plus, I like how lively it's got here" Homura replied looking around again. Inari beamed and started dragging her around the festival, showing her, and trying to beat her, in manny festival games.
