Naruto: Rewritten

Chapter 37

Homura walked through the village, reading over the healing scroll Tsunade had given her, she had just about perfected it, and was waiting for her blond friend to come and visit.

"H-hey! Homura-chan!" A quiet voice called snapping her from the scroll. "Oh! Hello Hinata-chan! What wrong?" Homura asked. "Th-there is a commotion at the gate! A b-blond man is demanding th-that you see him! But the g-guards won't let him in!" Hinata cried. "Tch. He decides to come around today?" Homura muttered, confusing Hinata. "C'mon! I'll introduce you to Deidei!" Homura cried running down the street pulling Hinata after her.

Homura arrived at the gate to see Deidara scowling at the two guards, and the two guards growling back. "Woah! Woah! Woah! Calm down Deidei! For fucks sake get a grip man!" Homura cried putting herself between the two sides. Deidara grabbed the front of her shirt, and started yelling "DON'T CALL ME DEIDEI!!!! JUST BECAUSE YOU KICKED MY ASS DOESN'T GIVE YOU ANY PERMISSION TO CALL ME DEIDEI!!". "Thanks for telling the entire village that" Homura muttered.

Deidara dropped the front of her shirt and turned bright red. He was still very pissed off when they got to the Hokage's office. Homura dropped his hand and knocked on the door. A irritated 'come in' was heard and Homura pulled Deidara into the office.

"Yes Homura?" Tsunade asked moving her gaze from the group of ninja. "I would like to request, on behalf of Deidara, to allow him to stay in the village for a week" Homura said bowing to her blond elder. "Is he a trusted friend?" Tsunade asked. "I would trust him with my life" Homura responded.

Deidara looked over to her at this comment. He was surprised and touched by her comment. "Very well, he can stay for as long as you need" Tsunade replied curtly, dismissing both nin from her office.

A dark brown haired woman raised her eyebrow at the two nin's retreating backs. 'Kiba is gonna flip' she thought as Tsunade cleared her throat. "Hana! Pay attention!" Tsunade snapped, making Hana refocus on her superior.

Homura pulled her blond friend through the village. "Where are you taken me un?" Deidara asked. "To a place with food then to my place, I've gotta build up stamina if I want to preform this Jutsu properly" Homura replied. Deidara simply nodded, pointing to Ichiraku's Ramen. "I want Ramen" he said simply. Homura smirked and pulled him into the store.

"Hey Homura-Chan! Huh? Who's this?" Sakura asked spotting Deidara next to her red-haired friend. "Hey Saku-Chan! This is Deidara! A friend of mine" Homura replied as the two others in the small shop spun around. Sasuke sent a semi-friendly head-bow to the blond man and Naruto growled at the closeness between the two.

"Deidara? What a weird name" Naruto grumbled. Homura whacked his head. "Be nice Naruto-Teme, know that I trust him" Homura hissed. Naruto inaudibly grumbled something about blond's, to which Homura laughed "You're a blond too Baka~".

Deidara smiled at the two, they argued like siblings. "So how'd you two meet?" Sakura asked pulling Deidara into a spare seat. "I kicked his ass, while I was away" Homura interrupted slinging an a over his shoulder and placing an order. "Yeah. She's a tough one un" Deidara said sourly. "Heh. Your just sour a girl beat you Deidei" Homura giggled, causing a tic mark to pulse on his head.

"Deidei?" Sakura giggled. "Shut up pinkie" Deidara hissed. The two girls giggled and Sasuke sent a sympathetic glance at the blond. Naruto, on the other hand, smirked, patting the others back. "She's like this all the time" Naruto said. Deidara nodded as a large bowl of ramen was placed in front of him.

"Thank you for the meal (un)!" Deidara and Homura both chorused.

"See you later Homura-Chan!" Naruto called. "See you Naruto!" Homura replied back waving goodbye. "C'mon, this Jutsu isn't gonna do itself" Homura said grabbing Deidara's hand and pulling him down the road. "What Jutsu is Homura talking about?" Sasuke asked. "Tsunade-Sama gave Homura-Chan a scroll the other day, she said that it should 'give her all the information she needed'" Sakura said.
