Homura swallowed the lump in her throat as she and Hidan slowly crept up to the ruined city((picture above/to the side)). They stopped just outside of the city boarders and looked for scouts.
"Hidan, no matter who or what we see we are only here to get Mizuki and that's it" Homura reminded. "But what if they have others?" Hidan asked. "I'm sorry Hidan, but we are only equipped with enough time to break in for one hostage. I'm really sorry" Homura apologised.
Hidan nodded and turned back to the trashed city. They both waited in silence for the signal to show itself. When the small speck of light showed itself and the roar of a thousand ninja was heard, the two pulled up their hoods and slipped into the village, darting through streets and ducking into alleyways when enemy ninja were seen or heard.
Finally the two slipped into a small room with nothing but four walls and carpet that smelt like it had been washed in the sea. Homura gestured for Hidan to follow her and crept over to the opposite wall, counting the bricks from the floor like Konan told them. Once they counted 16 up they pressed the brick they had landed on and walked through the hole that had formed.
They walked through the hallways looking for their destination. They rounded several corners before stopping outside a door marked PC23. Homura smiled lightly and began picking the lock on the door. After several nerve wreaking minutes the door gave a defiant click and the door creaked open to reveal a horrific sight.
Mizuki lay in the middle of the room, chains connecting her tiny, bone-thin limbs to the walls, her long, beautiful white hair was clumpy and stained pink and her teddy bear lay in shreds just out of her reach. Hidan whimpered slightly and ran over to her, embracing her gently and rocking her unconscious body just as gently.
Homura watched in sadness before jumping into action. She unbounded the girl and stopped all bleeding with a quick healing Jutsu. She pulled Hidan to his feet and pulled him and the little girl from the room.
"Be quiet. We need to get out of here" Homura hissed, slipping through corners and creeping through the corridors. She pulled the sibling duo down the corridors. She pulled them towards the, still-open, doorway and dragged them through before the opening snapped close.
"C'mon Hidan, those clones aren't going to last much longer" Homura sighed, dragging the two put into the streets and down the pathway they had so carefully followed not and hour before.
Hidan finally snapped out of his daze and shifted Mizuki to his shoulder and started running down the pathway along side Homura. The two whipped around corners with only trails of white and red hair following them. They ducked and weaved through the city silencing their footsteps as the rainy city sized past them.
Finally they stood at their exit route and stopped to gulp down fresh air. They stayed still for a few seconds allowing the silence of the night wash over them. They finally straightened their backs and grinned at each other. Homura giggled lightly and started walking towards their escape, Hidan following behind with a chuckle falling from his mouth. The three reached their destination just as Mizuki woke from her death-like sleep.
"Huh? Where am I?" She asked sleepily. "Just outside of the rain village sweetness. We're gonna go to The Leaf" Hidan whispered. "Weally?!? Yay!!" Mizuki whispered back. "That's right sweetie. Now this is very important I'm gonna put a Jutsu on you and you'll fall asleep. When you wake up you'll be in Konoha. Ok?" Homura asked, sensing danger close-by. The little girl nodded and closed her eyes as the redhead placed the Jutsu over her.
"Aha! See I told you there was more!" A enemy ninja cried, jumping from the shadows, seven or eight more jumping out after him. "Hidan get Mizuki outta here!" Homura cried, getting in a battle stance. "What about you?" Hidan asked, jumping up to a tree branch. "I'll be right behind you! Get outta here!" Homura ordered, turning to face her nine foes.

Kiba paced continuously, worry etched into his face and he continuously twisted the ring on his finger. He kept sending glances at the road leading away from The Leaf Village.
"Don't worry, she'll be fine" Kotetsu sighed, slightly amused at Kiba worry. "It's been a week!!! She was supposed to get there a week ago!" Kiba hissed, stopping his pacing only to scan the road in desperation.
"Dude you're acting like she's your wife or something" Izumo asked, scoffing at his own joke. Kiba growled lightly before returning to his pacing.
"Heh. Careful guys if you puss off a dog he'll bite" a weak voice laughed. Kiba whipped around to find the source of the voice. Homura sat on top of the rickety old shade provider that Izumo and Kotetsu spent most of their time together in. But Kiba knew something was wrong. She sat in a funny position and held her arm close to her body like it was hurt.
Kiba growled lightly and jumped up to where Homura sat. In a few quick jabs Kiba found her arm and leg to be broken as well as several of her ribs. The brunette sighed loudly before lifting the redhead up and slinging her over his shoulder.
"Where are we going?" Homura asked. "Hospital. End of discussion" Kiba responded, walking towards said building. "Ok Hun. Missed you too" Homura smirked, allowing herself to be carried.

"So it has been decided? We are going to war with Kabuto Yakushi!" Tsunade sighed, getting murmurs of agreement from her fellow Kaze. Gaara sighed then closed the meeting, standing to talk with his friend.
"Tsunade-San. I wish no harm to you and your villagers during this battle" Gaara said, bowing respectfully. "And I you. Do you think we'll win?" Tsunade responded. "Not without significant loss. And I fear it will be someone everyone loves" Gaara replied, looking longingly outside the window. "I'm sure Naruto and Homura will be fine Gaara. Don't worry about them, that's my job" Tsunade laughed, patting the redhead's back.
