"We'll find him, Steve." I said, patching up a few of his wounds while he winced.

"I promise."

"I just can't believe he's alive." Steve sighed, and I nodded in agreement.

"Neither can I."

"You two used to date, right?" Steve asked, making me gulp.

"We weren't exclusive, and you two were best friends." I responded, and Steve gave me a soft smile.

"I feel so terrible."

"It's not your fault." I said quickly, finishing up the last of his wounds before he started patching up mine.

"It is."

"It's Hydra's." I told Steve, and he seemed a little more convinced.

"We need to get him back."

"You know we will, we'll never stop searching." I tried to reassure him, and he nodded.

"Till the end of the line."

"We just need to recover first, and then we'll go find him, okay?" I asked, making Steve sigh.

"Okay."

"Just be patient." I winced, feeling him stitch a wound on my shoulder back together, and he pat me on the shoulder lightly.

"You're doing great."

"As always." I joked, making my brother laugh.

"Yeah, as always."

Once he'd finished patching up the cuts that Bucky had given me by throwing me through a window, we locked eyes.

"Stell, can I ask you something?" Steve asked, and I shrugged.

"Sure, anything."

"Is there anything going on between you and Loki?" He questioned me, making me choke on my saliva out of surprise.

I wonder how he's doing.

"Of course not." I responded, but Steve looked unconvinced.

Loki and I did kiss, after all.

Well actually, he kissed me.

"Okay, good."

"Yeah, good." I smiled, and Steve nodded.

"Because he's a crazy murderer, and I don't trust him."

"It's okay, neither do I." I agreed with Steve, making him pat my leg and stand up.

"Come on, let's get our files together on Bucky."

"He's just laying low." I concluded, and Steve nodded in agreement.
