Chapter Seventheen

It's a quiet wednesday afternoon when I reach my sister's dorm. I took a deep sigh when I saw her with Aly. I think they're talking. A half smile form onto my lips when i saw ate Laughing. Pareho silang may hawak na libro. I think they're reviewing.

I look at my wrist watch and It's already 3pm. I heard their alarm clock kaya kaagad akong pumasok. I saw coach Tai looking at me. I wave my hand at him and take a bow. "Hi coach. How's the girls?" I asked in a polite way.

"They are ok. They're happy."-Coach Tai

"Can I talk to my sister before she go to practice? Like you know coach. She have to sign something important."

"Ok. 10 minutes before we go to gym." He answered back with a smile on his face.

I walk straight to my sister without looking at Aly. I heard her chuckle kaya inirapan ko lang siya. "Hi ate, how are you?" Nakangiting tanong ko sakanya. I look at her knee. "How's your knee? Nilagyan mo ba ng ointment yan?"

"Yes sis. And thank you for asking. Ikaw? Kamusta kana? Hindi kana dumadalaw dito."-Ate Den

"Baka naman busy dun sa future bf niya besh." Lokong sabi ni ate Ella. Napangiti nalang ako sa sinabi niya.

"Hindi pa pwede ate Ella. Hanggang crush nalang muna daw po, sabi ni ate."

"Hay naku! Wag kang maniwala sa ate mo!"-Marge

I shook my head as I look straight at ate Den. "You need to sign something ate." I said as I swallowed the lump on my troath. I can see Aly in my peripheral vision, she's looking at the envelop intently.

"What about sis?"-Ate Den

Hinila ko siya palabas ng dorm at dun ko siya kinausap. Baka asarin na nmn ako ni Alyssa. Sasabihin na nmn, bata pa daw ako. Kaya kailangan ng adult signs ang mga papel na binibigay sakin. Tsk.

"Feild trip ate. Science center." Mahinang sambit ko bago ibigay ang envelop. "You dont need to read it. Lagi namang ganun yun nakalagay. Dear parents, blah blah blah." Nakanguso kong sabi.

"You sure?"-Ate Den

"Promise ate. And i know you're tired. Kaya huwag mo ng basahin." Nakangiting sabi ko. "Saka alam mo namang ayaw kitang napapagod dba?"

She arch her left brow on me bago kunin ang pen sa kamay ko. She's still looking in my eyes. "Are you sure? Really really sure?" She asked with a half smile on her face.

"Promise. Cross my heart, mamatay man si Nemo."

She shook her head while laughing softly. I bit my lower lip when she signed the papers. She pass it to me while looking at the pen. "Problem sis?" I asked her.

"Wala naman. Bakit ka sakin nag pa sign? Why not dad or mom?"-Ate Den

"Busy si daddy. Tapus si mommy nasa hospital." Pagdadahilan ko saknya habang inaayos ang papel na iyon. I checked it once and I smiled when I saw her signature. "Kamusta na nga pala si ate Maddie ate?" Kunot noong tanong ko.

"Well she's fine. Nasa therapy room siya eh."-Ate Den

"Can I visit her? Is ate Bea with her too?"

"Well yeah! Lahat ng team mates namin. Mas inuna kasi nila yun kesa sa mag review."-Ate Den

"Buti pinayagan sila ni coach?" Takang tanong ko habang naglalakad kami papalapit ulit ng dorm.

"Yeah. Saka, para diretso na silang matulog after dinner."-Ate Den

I nodded as I put the envelop in her closet. We went to their therapy room. While walking I can't help but to smile everytime i heard ate Den and ate Aly's laugh. I dont know why, but I think. Hindi na sila nag-aaway.
