Whut???

*knock *knock *knock

My eyes opened in a sudden lightning as my body quivered because of the coldness of the water. I moved my hand along the ices as my tears escaped my eyes. 'The room is flu...' A song played inside my head as I started to sob painfully. I can feel my slow heart beating. My blood rushed through my veins as my head started to pound, scattering the pain to my whole skull.

"Athena..." Aleck called outside my door. I tried to open my mouth, but then i decided to bit my bottom lip. I focused my eyes on the ceiling as my ears were waiting for my brother to speak again. His voice heard inside my chest. My brother's voice. "Please, open the door." He whispered through desperation.

I heard his sobs and a sudden soft punch on my door. I clenched my fist because of my painful head. "Im sorry." I whispered softly.

Hearing my brother's voice in pain, was the most painful feeling that i've never heard for the next 5 months of my existence in this house. I didn't know what happened to whom they called ADLV's blood. Aleck Duaine was the only person who can prove that our blood still exist. He was the only one.

"Sweetie, may I come in?" My mom's voice was heard from behind the door. I nodded my head as if they were seeing me through the thick wooden door of my room.

I closed my eyes as I heard the creaking sound of it, my mom's footsteps. "Hi." I greeted at her plastering a sweet smile. She looked into my eyes. "Mommy Justine." I called her name. Her tears started to escape her eyes, her grip into my hands sending chills into my bones.

"What are you doing?" She asked through her painful sobs.

"I think im crazy." I whispered. No, I am not. Looking away at mommy Justine's eyes was full of regret. Full of pain. "Kill me now." I begged.

"Oh my gosh Athena." She cried. I cursed under my breath as I bit my bottom lip. "Baby please, everything will be fine. The doctor said there's nothing wrong with you. You're the one who's controlling yourself. You..."

I showed her my wrist that has blood coming out through the cuts I did. She covered her mouth and cupped my face. She looked into my eyes and it pained me more as I blamed myself for giving them such pain like im going through. After looking in her eyes we both looked on my wrist her mouth hung open as the blood rushed back in my veins like a worm.

"No mom. I can't. I don't want to be like this. I am a freak."

Kuya looked at me and crossed his arms above his chest. He looked away as I met his gazes. His eyes turned into green as I felt my eyes' changed. Mommy looked at me intently with confusion in her eyes. "Your eyes." She whispered, full of questions confusion in her head. "Can you talk to me through mind?" She asked. I nodded my head.

Mommy Justine's grip tightened around my shoulders as I invaded her head. The tingling sensation at the back of my head became strong as I read mommy Justine's eyes. I can see how confused she is. It's just obvious that I messed her mind up. Many questions are playing inside.

'Trust me mom. I don't know either.'

'What the... Hell is happening.'

'Mom listen...'

She tried to open her mouth but no word came out. I decided to get out of her mind as I saw how she struggled because of many questions in her mind. I gulped many times and closed my eyes. "Im sorry." I breathed out.

"Telepathy." She mumbled.

"Yeah. Weird huh?" I asked her before looking at my brother. "We're not humans!" I shouted.
