Tony was preparing for a date that seemed like a first date. To him it was going to be an important encounter, for the fact that he was about to meet Jamaica one on one. Due to his unusual profession as a hitman, he usually kept a low profile.  Alex his employer, from time to time reminded him of his past misdeeds, during most of their conversations, and always cautioned him not to engage himself too socially.

Tony agreed with him half-heartedly because he knew Alex wanted him to keep  his low profile intact due to the nature of the job that they did. He would always tell him that his position could be compromised if he indulged himself too much, especially with women. But Tony  on this one point disagreed with him because he knew that Alex himself had a serious obsession for women.

Being a Saturday afternoon, he was getting ready  to meet Jamaica at the Sheraton for their agreed appointment. His interest in her was growing and he didn't want to miss his chances of being with her. Their time drinking after the Alfred meeting, led him to believe that he could go far with her.

And he was optimistic that the appointment with her would go well. He decided to look his best, and so he put on a blue Senator's native style men's dress with leather black pointed shoes to go with it. He then looked at himself in the mirror and smiled as his thoughts went to Jamaica, and about how spending more time in her company would be like. He was curious to know who she was and what she actually did for a living.

When he finished dressing, he left the house and boarded a taxi and went  to the Sheraton. He got there and booked a room and told the hotel receptionist that he was expecting someone. The minute he went inside the room and  shut the door, he picked up the room phone and called reception and ordered a bottle of champagne. He then sat down waiting for Jamaica to come. Then his phone rang.

"Hello?"
"Tony, it's Alex. There's something I need you to personally do for me."

"Now?" Tony asked.
"No, not today but within the coming week."
"Is it serious?"
"No, I just need you to check on someone. I will give you a name when we meet."
"Okay, then." He cut the call in time to hear a knock on the door.
He opened the door thinking that it was the hotel reception with the champagne that he had requested. Instead, it was Jamaica. The minute he saw her, he quickly put his phone into his back pocket and smiled.

"Agnes, come in." He said, embracing her as she came in. Jamaica didn't waste time in removing her shoes the minute she went in. She put her hand bag down, on top of the bedside drawer, and sat on the bed.

"My God! Barging in like this, tell me it's stress from work?" He gave her a kiss to which Jamaica blinked.

"Work is always stressful, sometimes hectic."
"And what is it you actually do that is stressing you out?" Tony asked, as he looked into her eyes.
"I work." Jamaica replied, as she raised her legs up and placed them on the bed. She lay down, and then closed her eyes while Tony looked at her. Looking at her he had the impression that she didn't want to talk about her job.

"Yes, but you must be doing some kind of work." He said, as he lay down beside her. Jamaica opened her eyes and looked at him. She then placed a hand to his face and smiled.

"Keep asking questions, Tony, and  I won't enjoy being here." Tony removed her hand from his face and kissed it. He then went on to caress her cheeks with his fingers. Jamaica closed her eyes again and said,

"Finally, I can relax."

"Well isn't that why we are here?" Instantly Jamaica remembered that they had come for a drink.

"You told me it was just a drink."
"Ah, Agnes na wao. Isn't it a bit too early for that."

"So what do we do while we wait?" Tony kissed her and smiled.
