"Is this a joke, or what?" Duke kept staring at the photo of Jamaica and frowned in annoyance. He was sure this was some kind of provocation from his brother-in-law.
"Do you know her?" Mr. Daniels slowly asked, as if he was counting each word he pronounced.  "Because if you do, then she might be a threat to our operations."

"And what makes you think she is a threat?" Duke in his anger at being made to look like a fool, almost shouted.

"Duke I am trying to figure this out myself too, before I send the file..."
"Oh wait, so you even have a file on her?" Duke laughed and shook his head incredulous.

"Duke it's only a report that came from the highest authority of the State. For now I only need to verify the claims made on the report."

"And what are those claims, if I may ask?"

"It's something I have to find out first, before I get back to you." Duke shook his head as he realized that perhaps his brother-in-law was only trying get some kind of information from him by showing him a photo of Jamaica. But he wasn't ready to share whatever information he had until he got to the root of the story. He wasn't a man that trusted people so much-especially members of his wife's family.

"Fine," he sighed, "so when will you get back to me?" He asked, shocked.

"Don't worry about time...,"
"Look Mr. Daniels," he interrupted, "as much as I'd like to believe you, I do not like waiting. I have a job to do."

" I understand your concerns, Duke. Definitely it will be no longer than two weeks."

"Okay," he sighed, "I mean if you say so, then let it be as you say." He ended the call disturbed by the sudden revelation made by his brother-in-law. The idea that someone was stealing information right under his nose hit him hard. And even though Jamaica's photo appeared to him he was sure it was a case of mistaken identity.

He reasoned that whoever had anything against him was probably using Jamaica to get to him. As he sat down thinking about the whole scenario, he couldn't think of one single person that could go to such extent as to try and use Jamaica against him. Then again he thought about the highly placed person that had sent his brother-in-law the file.

Who could that be? He murmured. Then he remember the young lady Gbenga had sent to him; who had taken a photo of Jamaica. Could there be a connection? He pondered for a minute and then decided to call Gbenga.

"Hello, Gbenga?"

"Hell Duke, I hope everything thing is fine?"
" Yes, but I wanted update you on my findings."

"Yes, actually I was about to call you for that."
"Then why don't we meet?" Gbenga wasn't prepared for such an encounter yet as he was still trying to get his hands on more information about Jamaica. Earlier, he had received a phone call from the governor herself demanding an update.

"Governor, I'm still working on it."
"What do you mean you are still working on it?"
"Well, actually, I mean it's much more complicated than I thought."
"Complicated? So finding someone with all the resources that you say you have is complicated?" Gbenga was short of words. He knew that the governor was desperate, intent on getting her hands on any information concerning Jamaica by any means. This was something that bothered him because she didn't give him enough information to work with.

"I mean, I need more details to work with." The governor wasn't impressed by this request.

"Gbenga, are you joking or what?!"  She said, raising her voice. "Why did you accept to do the job in the first place?"

" I'm only saying, tell me what else you know about her. I mean, is she is a threat to you?"
" Gbenga if she wasn't a threat would I be looking for her?" She cut the call immediately. Gbenga knew by doing so she would use other means to get the information she needed. Knowing what she was capable of, and the extent to which she could go, he felt he had to tell Duke about it.
