Jamaica left the Civic center wondering how Shedrach could disappoint his supporters and members of the press by not turning up. This was something she felt that he had deliberately done. And while it bothered her, she kept thinking about the question that he had asked her, earlier.

Will you be attending the conference? Jamaica once she got back to her suite sat down to analyze those words carefully. She knew Shedrach had planned something, probably against her, if he was bent on knowing whether she would attend the conference or not.

Having seen the way her car was hit, she felt that Shedrach would not stop with simply threatening her. he would go far beyond that. Jamaica didn't know him too well besides knowing that he owned a chain of supermarkets. But far from being a businessman, she was sure that Shedrach was neck deep into politics.

This meant that he was a man highly connected in government circles at the highest level. He was popular in Rivers State and precisely, the capital. And so she wondered why he was mingling himself trying to expose Chief Badmos who was in Lagos. The dossier he had given her to give to Lagos first lady, was something that baffled her.

What connects you to first lady, Mr. Shedrach? This one question got her thinking of the possible ties between the two of them. Jamaica was never in support of the way she thought her excellency had won the gubernatorial election over her rival, Lucy Adebayo. On top of that she was shocked that the first lady had boasted about winning the election, through hard work.

Jamaica knew her excellency to be someone who could use any means to get what she wanted. If Shedrach had dealings with her, then it meant that he wasn't reliable as someone she could trust. Jamaica got up and decided to go and meet Frank and the team to know what their next move would be. However as she got up, she heard a faint knock on the door that surprised her.

The knock was more like someone tapping on the door with their fingers, three times. This was quite an unusual way for someone to present themselves at her door. Jamaica wasn't expecting any visitor and wondered who could have the boldness to tap on her door like that.

Immediately, she sensed some kind of danger and hurriedly opened the balcony door without making any noise. She stepped out onto the balcony, closed the balcony door and waited while peeping her head and looking through the glass.

She felt that if the person outside didn't get any response from her, their next move would be to kicked down the door, and come in and attack her. If they carried a weapon, they would shoot her immediatey. But as she waited to see what would happen next, the knocking became louder. Then suddenly she heard her name.

"Agnes, na me Bisi?" Jamaica couldn't believe her ears when she heard Bisi's voice. They were not friends and certainly not in good terms with each other. This visit bothered her but since Bisi was part of the team she decided to open the door and find out what she wanted. As she slowly opened the balcony door again to go back into the suite, it hit her to call Frank. She had to find out if all of them, including Bisi were together.

"Hello Frank?"
"Jamaica, you are becoming a case, o?"
"Have you all been waiting for me?"
"And what is the meaning of that?" Frank said, feeling irritated.

"I mean you Bisi and the two good looking guys that came along with you?" Frank sighed and shook his head. He felt this was a provocation on the part of Jamaica and responded by saying,

"Jamaica are you provoking me or what?"
"Only if you think so."

"So I asked that we go out together and the first thing you do is to test my level of jealousy?"

"Frank I'm in no mood to play, okay? Just tell me if all four of you are there together." Frank was baffled by this request on her part. But seeing that all four of them were together, he decided to give her the information that she had asked for.
