Jamaica had hoped to find enough time to talk to Tony but realized that with the presence of Alex it wasn't going to be easy. In fact she had resigned herself to believing that she would never have the chance to talk to him.

By now she was convinced that Tony was going to be replaced. His replacement wasn't going to be a retirement exercise. She knew he would be eliminated. What she didn't know was why replacing Tony was necessary. Apart from seeing him coming out of the building where Mr. Shehu's office was located, the only other thing she knew about him was that he was a restaurant owner.

She had jokingly told him that she would dig deeper and find out about him. But knowing that he was a target, she decided to have an open conversation with him. After Alex walked into the restaurant and spotted her, he walked up to her and tried to put up a friendly smile. Jamaica wasn't in the least happy to see him but also tried to put up a warm welcome smile.

"Welcome, sir." She got up as a sign of respect while he gestured for her to sit down. A look of urgency gripped his face making Jamaica to believe that something was wrong.

" Where is he?" He said, in a tone that gave Jamaica the impression, he was angry.
" He's in the kitchen." She politely answered. Alex left and barged into the kitchen immediately, making Tony turn from what he was doing in shock.

"Hello sir." He saw the angry look on Alex's face.

"So is it because of that thing out there that you failed to retrieve the file?" Alex said, pointing a finger at the door. Tony knew he was referring to Jamaica.

" If you are referring to her, then no." He said shaking his head.

"Then what explanation do you have for not doing your job?" Tony had a relaxed look on his face as if what Alex was telling him wasn't much of a big deal. To him there was always a second chance to retrieve the file. He believed so much in succeeding even after failing so many times, just as he had succeeded in eliminating Alfred on his second attempt

"Anyway I don't think you should worry about it. I'll get it for you."

" No, Tony we do not work like that. The instructions were to get it at the appointed time."

"I got there precisely at the hour."
"But you came back empty-handed."

"You are right, but I mean, someone may have got there firs..."
"No! We do not work like that, Tony!" Tony was shocked to see his boss in a fit of fury over a job he didn't execute properly. What surprised him was how Alex was shouting at him. Jamaica was alarmed when she heard Alex shout and quietly got up and placed her ear against the kitchen door.

"Tony my employers need that file, urgently!"
"So what do I do? I can't go back now and find it."
Alex shook his head and walked rapidly up to the kitchen door. Jamaica quickly went back to sit down when she noticed him coming to the door.

" I'm sorry for you, Tony." Alex opened the door and left the kitchen on his way out but stopped. He gave Jamaica a menacing stare. It was the type of look that carried with it an enormous threat. Jamaica didn't like the stare and tried to look away.

"Are you alright?" Alex suddenly felt the need to talk to Jamaica even though it was something he had to avoid. Already he and Duke had come to an agreement on how they would bring about the demise of Jamaica and Tony. But he seemed intent on revealing their intentions so quickly.

" I'm fine, sir."
" Are you behaving yourself, very well?" Jamaica shocked by the question didn't waste time in asking him if everything was okay.

" Sir, is everything is fine?" Alex held his breath to avoid shouting at her the way he had shouted at Tony. He kept looking at her in a calculated manner as if he was trying to figure out what exactly to tell her. However, in that instant, the kitchen door opened and Tony came out. Both Alex and Jamaica turned to look at Tony. Alex moved his attention from Tony to Jamaica before he left the restaurant.
