Tony had landed Port Harcourt much later than anticipated. Alex had told him to be there by nine but he had gotten there by eleven. Being so agitated about the whole operation, he couldn't sleep the whole night.

His biggest fear was for his family. He wasn't sure if he would see them again after his mission. And so even when his wife was questioning him concerning her suspicions about him and Jamaica, he kept quiet.

"Tony, a car will come and pick you up and take you to your hotel. You will be there until about four in the afternoon. Shedrach will hold a press conference. I got news earlier that he's going to Lagos much later, to speak one on one with the governor."

"Okay, and what about the venue?"
"I'm still working on finding out the venue, but I think it will be at the Civic center. However I will keep you updated. Keep your phone on, please."

"Okay, sir." Tony ended the call and sighed. Alex had called him just when he was inside the car and the driver was taking him to his hotel. He closed his eyes as the car moved trying not to think too much. He had so much on his mind that he was running into confusion.

On top of that Mr. Shegaya had still not called back  to give him an update. This bothered him so much because without the information from Mr. Shegaya, he didn't know how to proceed with the plan to take out Jamaica.

This situation was confusing and for once he was about to find himself in a position where he couldn't predict what the outcome would be. He knew everything could end in disaster. Finally the driver stopped at the hotel. Tony came down and thanked him and walked up to the reception desk.

" Hello, I have a room booked." He said, as he gave his name. The receptionist went through the list of  rooms that had been booked and found his name.

"Anthony, right?" Tony nodded. "You mentioned that you wanted a room adjacent to the other hotel. Well I'm sorry to inform you that the room has been taken."

"How is that even possible when specific details were sent in?"

"Sorry but it has been taken and besides, I wasn't on duty when the booking was made." Tony sighed as he had told Alex specifically to book the room closest to the next hotel.

"Hello, sir the room you booked has already been taken. What do I do?" Alex scratched his head on hearing that the room had already been taken.

"Listen what floor was that room?" Tony looked at the receptionist as Alex kept talking to him.

"What floor is it?"He asked the receptionist.
"Second floor." She replied.
"Sir it's the second floor."
"Then see if the one on the third floor is available."
"Okay sir." Tony ended the call and told the receptionist to get him the room on the third floor.

"Okay, sir." After the check-in formalities, the receptionist handed him the keys to the room. She took the time to look at him and blinked her appreciation of his looks. As if pushed to have a conversation with him, she asked,

"Sir, would you like something to be brought up to your room? I mean, maybe like champagne, red wine...?"

"I hope the phone in the room is working?"
"Sir this is a top class hotel, o. Everything is working fine. We even have free WiFi connectivity."
"Thank you." Tony smiled and left the reception and went up to his room. As it was on the third floor he opted to take the lift and waited for it to come down. Jamaica had taken the time to relax but had suddenly decided to go back to her suite at the other hotel.

In her usual manner she took the stairway and not the lift. She made her way down the flight of stairs to the first floor. Once she got there, she had just placed her left foot on the first step going down, when she saw Tony.
