Jamaica had changed her mind about going to see Abisola. She knew Abisola wouldn't want to see her. And so what she decided to do was to drop the envelope underneath the front door of Abisola's house.

But she wanted to do it in such a way that Abisola would pick it up once she got home from work. Her idea was simple. Since it was sensitive information she was dropping off, it had to be picked up immediately. Leaving it for Abisola meant making sure Abisola would pick it up the minute she got back home from work.

This timing was important for Jamaica because it had to happen in the space of not more than a few minutes. To make this work, Jamaica drove down to NMC news and waited in her car at around the time she knew Abisola would come out from work. She waited patiently and while waiting, took the time to go through the dossier once again.

Going through it, she still couldn't understand why Shedrach had simply handed the dossier over to her. On top of that, he had tasked her to deliver it directly to the governor. As she went through it, she kept one eye on the road to see when Abisola would come out. "By now the governor must be waiting for it," she murmured. "But don't worry, your excellency. You will get it".

She looked up from reading the dossier when she saw Abisola drive out of the NMC premises. She watched to see what would happen next. Then she saw another car coming out directly behind Abisola's car. When both cars were on the road, they stopped. Jamaica watched as Ojo came out of his car and went to talk to Abisola.

Soon they both left, with Ojo following behind. Jamaica sighed and started her car and followed them from the distance. She felt that Ojo would take a different direction but was surprised that he kept following Abisola's car. Finally the two cars stopped in front of Abisola's house and she and Ojo came down and went into the house together. Jamaica watched all of this from the distance and sighed.

Who is this guy, Abisola? This is not Femi. She murmured. And it is not even Alex. What have you got yourself into, this time?

Jamaica waited for the next one half hour. Then Abisola and Ojo came out smiling, with Ojo having his arms around her shoulders. Seeing the closeness between them, she realized that perhaps Abisola was no longer with Femi anymore. Not being close to Abisola anymore, Jamaica knew nothing about Abisola's private life.

Back in the past, Abisola confided in her a lot. It was something best friends did. But the present was different. They were like sworn enemies, mostly Abisola, who was seeking a personal vengeance. But all of this didn't bother Jamaica.

Somehow she had to get the dossier into Abisola's hand. She watched as Ojo got into his car and turned on the engine. Abisola came forward and waved at him before she went back into the house again. Jamaica followed Ojo as he drove off.

She kept a safe distance as she followed behind. Soon Ojo turned into a side street and stopped at a pub. Jamaica brought her car to a halt in the distance and watched to see what he would do next. Ojo came down and went inside the pub. Jamaica waited to see if he would come out immediately but he didn't.

She imagined that he had gone in for a drink. Immediately she came down and went inside the pub herself to also get a drink. Once inside, she was attracted to the light that was behind the bar. The distinctive red and blue colors exuding from the light, going on and off intermittently, delighted her.

"Can I have a glass of wine, please?" She told the barman. As the bartender served her drink he kept his gaze on her.

"Is it your first time here?" He said, as he let out a smile. Jamaica smiled back half-heartedly and nodded.

"Yes, but why do you ask?" She said.
"Actually, as a first time customer, your first drink is free."
"And should you be welcoming first time customers like that?"
