As the meeting ended, Duke told the team to find out the person that was about to be replaced. He left the meeting room and went back to his office. When he left, Bisi looked sharply at Jamaica. She then got up and walked right up to her and said,
"Agnes, what were you trying to do?" She stared angrily at her. Jamaica seeing the intensity of her stare, quietly got up and walked out of the room leaving Bisi shocked. "You for open your mouth make I discipline you for here, idiot."
"Aha, Bisi what has she done?" Asked Frank."But didn't you hear her talking about small girls? Am I a small girl?" Both Stanley and Tunde giggled, annoying Bisi the more.
"Yes, but she didn't make any reference to you.""Aha, who does she think she is to open her mouth like that?"
"It's okay, Bisi. Jamaica wasn't referring to you. " Frank tried to defend Jamaica.
"Abeg, Frank, tell her to leave me alone o. What does she want from me?"
"Bisi, that's enough. Don't think of it otherwise." Bisi calmed down but was terribly offended and left the meeting room. Stanley and Tunde also got up and left, leaving Frank alone. He sighed and was about to get up when Jamaica opened the door.
"Frank, I thought you had left."
"As a matter of fact I was about to leave. But now that you're here, let's have a chat." Jamaica came and sat down. Frank looked at her and sighed."When you made that comment were you indirectly referring to Bisi?"
"No, I wasn't. I only mentioned the most likely places he would go. And of course those are places any man would take a woman to, right?" Frank sighed, and nodded his head slowly.
"Yes, but she doesn't see it that way."
"I don't know that." Jamaica said.
"In fact she even asked to be left alone." Jamaica was totally shocked that Bisi was taking her intentions wrongly."Frank we've been working together for long, so you know me quite well."
"I tried to make her understand that you made no reference to her."
"Thank you, but don't defend me next time. I can defend myself." Frank laughed and shook his head.
"At least this intel was good."
"Oh no, don't go there, Frank. I know what you do best.""So is that why you want me to cry?" Jamaica stared at him thoughtfully and said,
"Perhaps when all of this over. I mean, the Port Harcourt job? Yes."
"Is that a date?" He asked, looking right into her eyes.
"Seriously, Frank?" Frank nodded.
"It wouldn't be a bad idea." He said as he got up. Jamaica got up as he approached the door."And how would that go?" She asked, still trying to figure out why he had asked to go on a date with her.
Frank looked at her, smiled and then said,"At least, better than the intel you claim I don't give you." Jamaica laughed.
"Well someone else has more experience in that area, and she just walked out." Frank shook his head.
"Jamaica, do you know you just admitted to referring to Bisi with what you said?"
"Well, you trust her more than you trust me." Frank ignored her and walked up to the door and opened it. Jamaica walked up to him and called out his name.
"Frank?" He turned and looked thoughtfully at her. "You will have much better luck with her than with me." Frank ignored her and walked away. Jamaica closed the door and felt a sudden repulsion for him, for even asking her to go out on a date with him. She quickly erased the thought of it from her mind and went to sit down. Instead she focused her mind on the appointment that she had with Tony.
