Femi had just got off the phone when Abisola opened the front door to come in. She wanted to meet Jamaica but decided to come home and wear something different. She was poised to meet her friend and tell her about her on-going relationship with Femi. What she didn't realize was that the man she was constantly worried about, was asked to spy on her and track her every move.

Femi was reluctant and very skeptical at first about spying on Abisola. Since she was his girlfriend, the idea of spying on her bothered him and so he took the job less seriously. But that changed the morning he asked his employer why he had to spy on Abisola.

The lady you are sleeping with, works at NMC news. Now NMC over the past few days has been releasing up-to-date news. All the information they put out is correct. What we don't know is who is supplying them that information.

The minute Abisola stepped into the house, her eyes immediately caught sight of Femi, sitting down comfortably on the couch. In his hand was a glass of whiskey and he was  focused on watching the TV. The sight of him sitting down feeling relaxed, was something that she terribly detested.  She walked up to him and for a brief second stood and observed him without greeting him. Femi smiled when he noticed the way she was staring at him. He knew she wasn't happy with him.

"Hello my baby, your man is enjoying himself. Would you like to join me?" He asked provokingly. Abisola disregarded his question and went straight to the bedroom. Femi got up and followed her into the bedroom. He wasn't happy that she had ignored him and walked away.

"Hey madam, am I not talking to you?" He barked, as he got to the bedroom. Abisola looked at him briefly and went on to remove her clothes much to his surprise. "Babe, why are you ignoring me?" Femi walked up to her and stood in front of her.

"Femi abeg, I am not in the mood to argue."
"Then answer my question." Abisola moved away from him and went to sit down on the edge on the bed. His presence irritated her and she just wished he wasn't around her. If only he could just get out of my life and leave, I wouldn't be having all this stress. she told herself.

To her he was lazy, arrogant and  worst of all, he would beat her from time to time . However it was difficult for her to tell him how she felt, and so she sat quietly on the bed with only her panty and bra on. Femi walked up to her and placed his hands on both cheek.

"Babe talk to me, now. What is troubling you?" He knelt down in between her legs and with both hands to her cheeks, gave her a kiss. "Tell me what is bothering you hm, Abisola?" For a few seconds she stared into his eyes worried that she would soon take the drastic decision of telling him that between them, it was over.

And while the love for him was strong, she felt it was time they go their separate ways. She removed his hands and got up and went to the wardrobe and opened it.

"Femi I have an appointment and I don't want to be late." She scanned the wardrobe to look for a dress to wear. When she found one, it was a blue sleeveless Ankara gown. She took it out and wore it. Femi stared in amazement but got a little jealous and immediately asked,

"So who is he?" Abisola eyed him from head to toe ignoring his question. Getting no response Femi walked up to her. "Abisola I asked you a question."
"Ooooh Femi, please leave me, jor."
"Who is that man that you are dressing up for?!"

"And must it always be a man?"
"Lately, you have been making some strange phone calls. Who do you actually call?"

"And why should it be any of your business, who I call? Am I not a journalist?"
"And so what? Are you the only journalist in Lagos?"
"So what do I do, stay at home and be looking at your face? Abeg clear road jare, let me go to my appointment." Femi was getting nervous being challenged that way, and more so, when Abisola shoved him aside to go and put on her shoes. He stood staring at her speechless but with only one thought in mind-to follow her.
