"Dustin..." Athena spoke.

"Yeah, Thea?" Dustin responded.

"T-There's something behind you..."

Dustin turned around to see that the armed guard from earlier, somehow resurrected.

The guard was in a zombie-like state, it seemed mindless. It was reaching over to Dustin but the latter turned around after he was warned about it.

"What the fuck?" Dustin blurted out.

Without thinking, Dustin started to shoot at the reanimated corpse with the pistol he got from the said corpse. After a few well-landed bullets, hitting the head and chest, the corpse lost its life and dropped to the floor.

Dustin breathed heavily, trying to process what just happened.

"See?" Dustin told the others. "Told ya this gun will come in handy."

"You wasted five shots on just one guy." Drista pointed out.

"Look, this is my first time shooting an actual gun, okay?" Dustin countered. "It's not that easy. You can't just shoot anywhere that easy like a video game."

"That's true." Athena agreed with the athlete of the group. "There's a few principles and factors that are very important."

"Yeah, what Thea said."

"Man, guess that zombie still got some guts on him, huh?" Adrian joked, making light of the situation.

"Yeah, I'm gonna take this from ya..." Dustin said to the dead guard as he grabbed the guard's modified P90. "I'm gonna need a lot more firepower than a pistol."

"You sure you can handle that, Dustin?" Freddie asked him, still concerned.

"Yeah, yeah, I got it, don't worry about it." Dustin answered. "Anyways, Thea. Mind telling us what you saw in the observation room while me and Drista were staring at that peanut freak?"

"Well, it was very bizarre..." Athena answered. "I-It was a tall person, wearing a medieval plague doctor outfit. He was surrounded by dead researchers and he nearly saw me."

"I see..." Freddie understood. "I guess we should find him and recontain him before the Foundation forces could get to us."

"How're we going to find him?" Dustin asked. "This whole place looks the same on every corner and we don't know how big this place is."

"We have to try, Dustin." Freddie pressed. "We have to help the Foundation, at least a little."

"Alright, fine." Dustin gave in. "I'm keeping this."

"You better have some discipline on that thing." Athena told the athlete of the group, making him realise the consequences of having a gun. "We wouldn't want any of us getting hurt."

"Gotcha." Dustin replied. "Discipline."

"Alright, let's get a move on." Freddie told the group. "Dustin, lead the way."

"Roger dodger." Dustin replied.

With that, Dustin led they way for the group around the facility in order to look for SCP-049, with the reason being that Dustin had a gun on him.

-----

The group was walking down the hallways of the foundation, making faint footsteps as they were walking on the metal floors of the facility.

"Just how big is this place anyway?" Drista asked. "It felt like we've been walking forever."

"It's only been thirty minutes, Drista." Athena replied, then turned to Dustin. "Are you sure you know where you're going, Dustin?"
