"Just get the hell out of my goddamn way!"

"You're not going any further than this! I already said that you're done and that'll be the end of it!"

"I'm done when I say I'm done!"

"Yet you don't get to dictate that! Not on my watch!"

"You fucking--"

Before the commando could finish his sentence, his older sister ended up slapping him across the face. The commando immediately felt his cheek, initially shocked, then gradually turned into anger.

"So that's how it's gonna be, huh?"

"You forced my hand, Edmund." the ambassador answered. "I say again... get out of here now."

"Fine..."

With that, the commando had walked away, with his right-hand man following behind him, who had been silent this whole time.

The ambassador sighed in relief, successfully managing to keep her younger brother away from further abusing their captives.

"Not on my watch, little brother." the ambassador thought to herself. "I won't let you near them again."

Before she could do anything else, she heard a door opening behind her; she reflexively turned around to see what it was.

"Oh great... a fucking Pom first thing in the morning..."

"And good morning to you too..." the ambassador greeted. "May I ask why are you planning to leave your cell?"

"What's it to ya?" the Australian recruit raised an eyebrow.

"There's no harm in answering a simple question."

"To a fucking Pom, that's an exception." the Australian recruit responded. "And what the hell was going on out here anyway?"

"Well... I was keeping my promise to you."

"Huh?"

"Remember when we made that agreement a while ago?" the ambassador asked. "Where if I protected you two, you would cooperate with me."

"I don't believe you."

"You don't have to." the ambassador responded. "However, I have done quite enough on my part."

"And how am I gonna know that those two sons of bitches aren't gonna come back?"

"They won't, I can assure you that." the ambassador answered. "They answer to me, and I have given them multiple warnings."

"Yeah, well... there's still a chance that you're lying to my face right now." the Australian recruit responded. "I mean, you are a Pom, you're one of them, and I don't trust anyone here."

"Then what would get you to cooperate?"

"Alright... how about this..." the Australian recruit bargained. "I'll wait for... let's go with two weeks, and if he doesn't come back, then maybe I'll believe you."

"That's a considerable amount of time."

"Yeah, well, that's his usual schedule." the Australian recruit responded. "And I know the kid's not gonna pull through if he comes back here one more time; he can barely walk as it is."

"I'm... sorry to hear that."

"Yeah, I don't buy that either." the Australian recruit glared. "Listen, just get out of here, alright? We don't wanna see or talk to anyone."

The Australian recruit then closed the door of his cell, coming back to the bunk beds to comfort his injured friend.

"Nothing to worry about, kid." the Australian recruit informed him. "It's just the Pom and whatever the hell she did; either way, she won't be bothering us."
