A team of Foundation personnel were defending against a squad of insurgents from the Chaos Insurgency. The firefight had persisted for a short while, until the insurgent numbers were gradually decreasing.
"Alright, that should be the last one." a Foundation soldier informed, killing the last opposing insurgent in the hall. "Hallway's clear."
"Everyone, stay alert." the team leader spoke up. "These bastards wouldn't hesitate to come at us with full-force."
With that, the team leader had the Foundation soldiers through the hallway, watching every direction to avoid any unexpected encounters.
As they went through the hallway, they noticed that there was a supply room that wasn't opened or forced into. The soldiers then opened the room and found something rather unexpected.
"Hey, is that Lucy?"
The soldiers found a seemingly three-year old common housecat, surrounded with encoders and coded messages. As the door opened, the cat ceased all movement and looked at the soldiers.
"What the hell is she doing here?"
"I dunno..." the team leader walked inside and took one page of the encrypted messages. "It looks like that there's something more going on here..."
The team leader looked at the cat again, with it trying to look confused and innocent, however the team leader wasn't deceived.

Present Day
"Ma'am, we're stumped on what to do..." the sergeant spoke up. "We have to do something before they turn him against us."
"Wait, before they what?" the tomboy asked.
"What do you mean by turn him against us?" Freddie asked.
"Yeah, that's kinda like their thing..." the colonel answered for the sergeant. "They take and weaponize SCPs just to take us down. They've been doing that for long time, they just don't quit."
"Yeah, the history between us and them had gone on for so long..." the sergeant added. "Anyways, ma'am, we need to take action. God only knows what they're doing to him right now."
"Yeah, do you have any orders for us, ma'am?" the tomboy asked. "We wanna get Dusty outta there."
"Well, the searches aren't turning up, and the agents didn't notice anything weird." the colonel enumerated the results of her measures. "There's nothing else that I can do."
"Ma'am, can we perhaps try something else?" the peacekeeper asked. "We're getting really worried about him, and we want to make sure he's safe and sound."
"Hmmm..." the colonel hummed, trying to think of a solution to the dilemma. "Alright... I got an idea. You three call Adrian, and meet me inside at Section 5C. I just might have something that might work."
"Okay, but will you tell us what the plan would be, ma'am?" the peacekeeper asked.
"Just do as you're told." the colonel answered, standing up from her desk and walking to the door. "I'll tell you guys there."
With that, the colonel exited her office, with the three being left a bit confused at her sudden actions, but shrugged it off as her usual antics. The three left the office and walked towards the field to find Adrian.
The three then saw him with the rest of the Omega-7 Task Force, marching around the field. They walked over to him to inform him about the matter.
"Hey, Adrian." Freddie greeted him.
