"Hey! Stop it, you motherfucker! I'm warning you!"

"Zaire, keep your eye on him! Make sure he doesn't bite!"

"Yes, sir."

Maccer was forced into the corner of the cell, with the commando's right-hand man pointing his handgun at him, ready to shoot if he does anything out of line such as tryingto attack or moving at all.

Currently, the commando is physically assaulting the nervous recruit without any remorse. He had punched him, kicked him, anything that would cause him pain in order to destress himself.

All the Australian recruit could do was watch, as attempting to help him would result with him dying. He wanted to protect the nervous recruit, however, he sat in the corner, glaring at his right-hand man.

"You two have gone too fucking far now, you know that?"

The commando's right-hand man stayed silent, glaring back at the Australian recruit.

"The kid didn't fucking do anything to you..." the Australian recruit continued talking. "You're the ones who got beef with me, and yet you're taking it out on a defenseless kid! You know how fucked up that is? You know how fucked up you are?"

The right-hand man still stayed silent.

"I thought you guys are the fucking UN... I thought you guys are here to help the rest of the world from fucking terrorists! Helping those people in fucking need! We haven't done shit, and both of you are way out of fucking line!"

"Zaire, shut him up."

"Yes, sir."

"Oh no, you fucking don't!"

The Australian recruit jumped into action and tried to grab the right-hand man's handgun, but he managed to dodge this by moving his arm to the side and hit him in the back of the head with the gun.

Maccer felt the blunt pain, making him disoriented and lying on the cell floor. He could barely see the commando finishing up his ruthless assault, and the nervous recruit being covered in the colour red.

"Zaire, let's go." he told his right-hand man, checking his wrist. "We're done here."

"Yes, sir."

Maccer saw the commando walking his way, and the latter stepped on his head, putting pressure on his foot as he did so.

"Next time, if you do that again, there's gonna be a bullet in his system, and you and I both know that you wouldn't want that."

With that final sentence, the two operatives stepped over the Australian recruit and left the cell, closing the door behind them as they did.

The Australian recruit regained his vision and saw the scene in front of him. The nervous recruit was laying on the floor, covered in blood and bruises, breathing through his mouth, looking barely alive.

"Kid!"

The Australian recruit regained his strength and got himself up from the floor, and walked up to the recruit. He didn't believe that what he saw was real, but he hoped that the nervous recruit was still alive.

"Kid, I... I'm sorry..." the Australian recruit apologised. "I tried to help ya, I tried to protect ya... it's just... fuck!"

The Australian recruit knows that trying to console the nervous recruit wouldn't help at all; the first time this happened, he promised he would protect him, but this time failed to keep it.

"Shit..." the Australian recruit muttered to himself. "If he goes through this shit one more time, then he's not gonna see Lia again."

The Australian recruit looked at the nervous recruit.
