Drista and Dustin had just returned from the field, after a few matches of basketball, and were now walking around the site to pass time.

"Man, you're getting better at b-ball, huh?" Dustin asked, sounding impressed about the tomboy's performance.

"Yeah, I'm gonna be at your level soon enough!" she declared. "But your moves are a bit confusing..."

"That's kinda the point..."

As they were going to travel through another hallway, something suddenly emerged from that hallway. This surprised the two and they looked at what it was.

It appeared to be a blue parrot, but its proportions would dictate that it was a humanoid. It was wearing a pirate's costume: a black tricorn hat, an eyepatch, and the appropriate clothing.

"Ahoy there, mateys!" the blue parrot greeted the two with an overly exaggerated pirate accent. "Do ye know where the golden egg can be found?"

The two were at a lost for words as to what they were seeing in front of them.

"Umm... I don't think it's here..." Drista answered, not knowing what else to say.

"Yeah, we don't know what you're talking about..." Dustin added.

"I was told that it might here..." the blue parrot answered. "Surely, ye must know where it could be..."

"He's over here!" a female voice rang out deeper from the hallway, the very same where the parrot emerged from.

"I've got to go!" the parrot told the two. "I'll be seeing you two later!"

With that, the blue parrot ran past the two, still bewildered by the scene, and continued running down the hallway. Then three guards emerged from the hallway and started to chase after the parrot.

Dustin then grabbed the right shoulder of one of the guards, revealing to be Davis, and asked him about the situation.

"Hey, what's going on, man?"

"Long story short, an SCP brought Captain Bluebeak to life." the guard answered. "Someone gave her a Captain Bluebeak book and here we are..."

"Alright, thanks for the info."

"No problem, sir."

The athlete let go of the guard, and the latter continued down the hallways to catch up with the other two guards.

"Well, that was something, huh?" Drista spoke up.

"Guess we still need to get used to everything that can and will happen here..." Dustin asked. "Kinda like a thing I read once before."

"What was it?"

"Something like Murphy's Law or something..." the athlete tried to recall. "You know, like what can go wrong, will go wrong."

"I didn't know you read that kinda thing, Dustin..." the tomboy said.

"Yeah, it's only when I feel like it..." the athlete replied. "Anyways, wanna head to the cafeteria for a quick bite?"

"Don't ask me twice." the tomboy smiled.

With that, the two walked over to the cafeteria just to pass some time. They went through the doors and they saw that it was mostly empty, with few tables occupied by few personnel.

The two had gotten their food, which were simple ham and cheese sandwiches, then walked over to one of the vacant tables and ate their food.

"Anyways, how're you holding up, Dusty?" the tomboy asked. "You know, like after everything that happened?"
