"The fifth spear is in there, brother?"

"Yeah, I can feel the presence from here. It's gotta be in there."

"Right, then we have no time to waste."

A cultist was watching a large site from afar, and the athlete was looking at it alongside him. He saw that a large cultist force would eventually overpower the site's defenses, taking the fifth spear for the ritual.

"Is everything set?"

"Yes, brother." the cultist nodded. "We await your command."

"Well? What the hell are you waiting for?"

"Don't worry, brother... everything's already in motion."

The athlete could see that a large convoy of armoured jeeps were heading towards the target site, about to engage with the security stationed there.

A few seconds later, faint sounds of gunfire and explosives could be heard from the vicinity.

"This will all be over soon enough, brother." the cultist reassured the athlete. "We will get that spear in no time at all."

"Well, then I might as well get in there and get it myself."

The cultist didn't have a chance to respond as when he looked to his left, he saw that the athlete had already disappeared.

"Hmm, this will be easier than I thought it'd be..."

-----

"What the hell's going on? Who's out there?"

"We don't know, sir, but we have to get you outta here. It's not gonna be safe for much longer, they'll get here eventually with the pace they have now."

"How many did we lose?"

"About sixty personnel so far, sir."

"Then there's nothing else we can do here..." the site director sighed, understanding the current threat. "We can afford to lose everything here, grab what you can and let's go."

"Including the artifacts, sir?"

"All of them."

"Right away, sir."

The site director then ran to his desk and got control of the personnel radios, alerting the site personnel as to what the next course of action would be.

"Gather the artifacts and everything else you can carry, we are leaving the site in five minutes." the site director announced. "We'll be heading to Sector 43 and await for further instructions. Don't be late, otherwise you'll be left behind."

With that, the site director had put down the radio, then hastily opened his drawer, grabbing an unloaded M9 and a magazine from inside it.

"Right... might as well wait for the others there." the site director responded. "Can't have myself to stay here any more than I need to."

With that, the site director walked to his door and peeked his head outside. From there, he could a guard getting riddled with bullets as he was backed into the corner.

Without a second to waste, the site director immediately went out of the office, just in time for the cultists to round the corner and open fire.

The site director was hit once, as a bullet grazed his arm. He kept moving forward, shooting behind him, which forced the cultists to take cover.
