"I gotta get away from that thing. Where are they?"

A man was running around the infinite shelves of a seemingly normal, regular, everyday IKEA store. All of the shelves seemed the same, thinking that he'd been there a few times before.

The man looked back and he still saw his pursuer chasing being him, hellbent on killing him on the spot.

The pursuer seemed human, mostly. It had no facial features, had a completely disproportional body structure and was wearing an IKEA staff uniform.

"Sir, the store is now closed." the humanoid creature politely told the man, albeit its actions were far from polite. "Please exit the building."

"Stop chasing me, dammit!" the man answered back at the creature.

The man didn't have time to think; even one second of thinking will get him killed. All he could do was run, hoping that the creature was getting tired.

After what felt like forever, he looked to his right. He saw a double door, with a big sign over it saying "EXIT".

"Huh?" the man noticed. "The exit?"

With that, the man rushed over towards the exit, hoping that his eyes didn't deceive him. As he was doing this, the creature still followed him, continuously stating its polite lines.

He pushed on the double doors, and artificial white light from outside seeped through the doors. He then walked on the pavement, leading to the store.

He was ecstatic that he had finally exited the store. He looked around and the sky was dark, still nighttime.

"Yes! I made it!" the man cheered aloud.

He was relieved that he had escaped the seemingly infinite store. Although he had escaped, he could still hear the statements said by the creatures in the store.

He turned around and saw the creature running through the doors and towards him.

"N-No! Stay back!" the man shouted at the creature, pleading for it to stop in its tracks.

This didn't affect the creature at all and continued running towards the man. It ended up mauling the man, killing him in the process.

"Open fire!"

A hail of bullets then began to wound the creature and eventually terminating it.

"Lopez, Collier, try to find anything on the man." the armed response team officer commanded. "There's probably something important on him."

"Yes, sir." the two soldiers responded.

The two soldiers walked over to the two bodies. When they got there, they inspected the body of the creature to make sure it's terminated.

"You sure this thing's dead, Collier?" one of the soldiers, Lopez, asked.

The other soldier, Collier, then fired a few more bullets into the creature's body.

"That should do the job..." Collier answered.

"Good call." Lopez commented. "Anyways, we should start looking for something..."

"What're we looking for exactly?" Collier asked.

"I dunno, just anything's fine, I guess..." Lopez shrugged. "Anyway, we should go on with searching."

"Right."

Lopez turned over the dead man's body, searching for anything that had come from inside the infinite IKEA store. He then noticed an IKEA journal sticking out from the man's jacket.
