The Wolves Task Force were sent to a suburban area that was recently plagued by a viral outbreak, which is the result of an uncontained SCP.

"So... why are we wearing these hazmat suits again?" Freddie asked the corporal.

"We're sent by the site director to handle a viral outbreak in this area." Riley answered. "So unless any of you want to die early, I suggest you to keep the suits on."

"We're going to outer space or something in these suits?" Adrian asked. "Is one of us the impostor or something?"

"Adrian, just drop it." Dustin answered.

"Yeah, we're getting tired of your antics there." Cunningham added.

"Fine... just making light of all this, that's all..." Adrian groaned.

"Did the site director tell us anything about the mission?" Drista asked.

"No, he just sent us here without proper briefing." Riley answered. "Kinda makes you wonder why he sent us here in the first place."

"And does the captain know about this?" Freddie asked.

"That I'm not sure." Riley answered. "I don't think the captain or the general have anything to do with this. It's probably just the site director sending us here."

"That does sound strange..." Freddie mused. "Surely both the captain and the general should know about this, right?"

"Or... maybe they do but they didn't tell us..." Riley replied. "Anyways, we shouldn't worry about it now. We should focus on what we're doing first, then we'll figure it out later."

"Alright..." Freddie understood.

"Hey, you sure you'll be fine there, Greg?" Cunningham asked her best friend. "You know, you might get a heatstroke like that."

They all looked at Sodokin and he still had his neck gaiter, covering the lower half of his face, despite wearing the hazmat suit.

"Yeah..." Sodokin answered, insistent that he would keep the gaiter on.

"Okay then, I'm just looking out for ya, you know." Cunningham said.

"Alright everyone, we're touching down now." the pilot announced to the group. "We're all suited up, and gather everything you need."

"Thanks for the notif, Pat." Riley replied. "Everyone, you heard him. Get your weapons, you'll need them."

"Got it."

With that, the group readied their SOPMOD M4A1 rifles and the helicopter touched down on the suburban asphalt, quite a ways from the actual suburbs. The privates went out and surveyed the perimeter, then the private first classes, and lastly the corporal, then the helicopter .

"Alright, we're clear for now." Riley told the group.

The group broke the perimeter and they gathered together for a plan.

"So, what are we going to do here exactly?" Freddie asked.

"We're going to get a sample of the virus, since this might be a case of SCP-008." Riley answered.

"We... don't know that one." Freddie said.

"Of course, that information is only disclosed to anyone with level four clearance." Riley replied. "Layman's terms, that's out of our pay grade."

"So, what are we dealing with here?" Adrian asked. "More of those Serpent's Hand people?"

"Were you not listening, Adrian?" Drista asked back at him.
