In a seemingly abandoned Foundation base in Uzhanskyi National Park in Ukraine, known at the time as Site-E, one doctor was in the testing chamber, examining the results of a just conducted neurosurgery on a young girl.

"Isn't this very meticulous work..." he muttered to himself.

As he was muttering this, he heard the door open and in walked another doctor, wanting to check on his colleague's progress.

"Ah, Doctor McCoy..." the newly arrived doctor greeted. "How's your progress on the neurosurgery?"

"Oh, hello, Doctor Barclay..." the neurosurgeon greeted back. "It's been a bit stressful, to be honest with you. Everything's been so tedious that it's almost restricting..."

"Ah, I'm sure it's nothing you can't handle... and what about the girl?"

"She's acting a bit... sporadic..." the neurosurgeon answered. "She seems empty and reluctant. She couldn't even respond to her own name."

"She's going to be this way no matter what..." the doctor replied. "This research is very important to us, so we can keep ourselves hidden from the public."

"Right..." Doctor McCoy responded. "So what brought you here anyway?"

"The Foundation wants you to hurry up with the research so we can get through to the mass memory removal..." Doctor Barclay answered. "The O5 Council wants it as soon as possible..."

"Yeah... I'll see what I can do about it." the neurosurgeon responded. "I'll notify you when I have new details about the matter."

"Good, then I best be off... I have some other matters to attend to." the doctor walked towards the door. "Best of luck to your work, Doctor McCoy."

With that, Doctor Barclay left the door, leaving Doctor McCoy back to his work. He then looked at the young girl, currently trapped in a cell.

He walked up to the cell and opened its door, only to find the girl huddled in the corner and staring at the floor, her face seemingly void of emotion.

"Alright, little girl, we still have more work to do." the doctor beckoned the girl. "We shouldn't waste any more time than necessary."

The girl looked at the doctor, then back down to the floor.

"Come on, we don't have time for this." the doctor went inside the cell. "You better get out of this cell before I force you out."

"Why?"

"Huh?"

"Why are you doing this to me?" the girl asked the doctor, still emotionless. "Why can't you just kill me already?"

"I don't have time for this..." the doctor sighed, then grabbed on to the girl's arm. "Come on, let's get you out of the cell."

The girl didn't resist the doctor, as she was forcibly dragged out of her cell.

"Don't fucking tell me he's not here..."

Dustin walked around the facility, hoping that SCP-507 didn't shift back into their reality without him. He had checked all the rooms and hallways in the underground facility, but he didn't see him.
