Doctor Bright was leading Adrian and Iris to his office, to talk to them about a seemingly private matter. The two was a tad concerned, since he had rarely been serious.
"Doctor Bright, is something up?" the joker asked. "You're starting to scare us."
"Yeah, is everything okay?" the teenage girl asked.
"I'll tell you when we get there..." the problematic doctor responded. "You'll know about it soon enough."
The two understood that this was urgent, however, they were curious and concerned as to what it was. The two didn't inquire any more from the problematic doctor and continued to follow him to his office.
The three had made their way towards the office, which the problematic doctor opened the door.
"Come on, get in." the problematic doctor beckoned the two. "Hurry, we're wasting time!"
Without any thought, the two immediately conceded and hurriedly entered inside the office. The problematic doctor entered and slowly closed the door, but made sure that no one was there before he finally closed it.
"Alright... I think we should be safe now." the problematic doctor then turned to the two. "I'm pretty sure no one followed us here."
"Yeah, because we took a pretty confusing route..." the joker responded. "It was like turn this way, turn that way, then go in a circle."
"Yeah, well, I had to make sure, you know..." the problematic doctor responded. "I'm sure you understand that, right?"
"I guess..."
"Alright, so why are we here, Doctor Bright?" the teenage girl asked. "What's that something you wanna tell us? Are you okay?"
"I'm pretty much fine, for now at least..." the problematic doctor responded. "Take a seat there, just so you two can kinda relax..."
The two looked to see a small sofa chair to their right. They then sat down on the sofa, just as they were instructed.
"Alright, that should make things a bit easier."
"Yeah, so would you mind telling us why we're here, Doctor Bright?"
"Okay..." the problematic doctor nodded. "So I brought the two of you here, since you two are the only people that I can trust here. Since we have been best pals for a while now, I think it's about time I set things straight with you two."
"Okay...?" the joker said, confused. "So... you wanted to tell us something?"
"Yeah, and I don't want anyone else hearing it..." the problematic doctor answered. "Well, actually, I brought the two of you here to tell you two things."
"Alright..." the teenage girl responded.
"For the first thing, I just want your honest opinion." the problematic doctor answered in a serious tone. "I just want the truth from you two, so don't you even try lying to me."
"O-Okay..."
There was silence for a few seconds, accompanied by a tense atmosphere, before the problematic doctor spoke again.
"Do you guys think that this snow globe I got for my office is a bit too early for Christmas?" he asked, leading the two to look at the said item on his desk. "I mean, I always wanted a snow globe for my own office. You know, for decoration and all that."
"Uhh..." the joker reacted, caught off-guard by the question, before speaking again. "Well, I mean I guess it's not too out of place."
"I think it looks neat." the teenage girl added. "I don't think you should remove it."
