"Alright, let's head out." the joker spoke up. "Try to keep up."

The joker then led the way, with the tomboy and the rest following behind him. Along the way, the Norwegian operative closed in to the commando, beginning to whisper something to him.

"You sure we can trust them, boss?"

"Absolutely not..." the commando responded. "But apparently, they're here for the same reason as us."

"But there's like four of them here, and there's more of us. What's stopping us from bashing their heads in right here and now?"

The commando wasn't sure what to answer, and proceeded to move at a quicker pace, leaving the Norwegian operative behind.

"Zaire?"

"If I had to guess, the ambassador would have a say in this." the commando's right-hand man responded. "She'd be livid if she found out that her brother got into another altercation with the Foundation."

"She doesn't have to know about it. We can cover it up, right?"

"Remember Morganstown?" the commando's right-hand man asked. "She knows everything that we've done, and if she doesn't find out right away, she'll never stop digging until she does. Not to mention that she has agreed to a ceasefire between us and them."

"Damn it..."

"When the time's right, Rika..." the commando's right-hand man continued. "You need to work on your patience."

"No need to remind me, Zaire." the Norwegian operative groaned. "And that kid too... she was held hostage by those bastards, and she sticks up for them?"

"That is odd..."

"You don't think she's..."

"A spy? No." the commando's right-hand man responded. "Although... the Foundation does have its secrets that we don't know about."

"So you're saying..."

"It's just mere speculation at this point." the commando's right-hand man replied. "For now, let's focus on our objective. We'll discuss this after we're done here."

"Right..."

"Jesus, just... what the hell man..."

As the group passed by, they could see the effects of the cultists around the area. Civilians and abandoned vehicles spread out along the road, making it difficult to navigate smoothly.

"I don't think there's any reasoning with him..." the tomboy spoke up. "After what he did to Riley, he's way too far gone with this shit!"

"That don't mean we kill him..."

"I'm not saying that!" the tomboy interjected. "Who I am gonna kill are these fucking cultists, who are just nothing but a nuisance to everyone! And if I could, I wanna fight this Scarlet King demon!"

"You're serious?" the joker asked chuckling. "I dunno, Drista, but that's a tall order."

"Shut the fuck up!"

"Okay, wrong choice of words there, I know..."

"Listen, I'm fucking tired of this shit, okay?" the tomboy continued. "I just want all of this to be over! I just want my fucking friend back!"

"Yeah, and we will..." the joker responded, then chuckled again. "You know, with that anger, these cultists don't stand a chance."

The joker then looked back at the commando, who was following closely behind the two of them.

"You enjoy listening to us talk?"

"I don't give a damn about you and your affiliation with the objective." the commando answered. "I just want this done, so that we can all go our separate ways."
