♡Chapter 32♡
Alaina’s POV:
I woke up with a smile on my face. Today is the day we rehearse at the venue. God I’m so excited. And tomorrow we perform! This is insane!! We also perform the night after that as well and spend one last day in New York after our performances. I rolled over and kissed Niall on the mouth. His eye lids fluttered open and he smiled at me. “That’s the best way to wake up ever.” I smirked “I know, I’m a good kisser.” I said playfully. He laughed and sat up. “Today we rehearse!” I nodded excitedly “I know!!” I sat up and looked at him “Well we better go get ready then?” I smiled and got out of our king sized bed.
I walked over to our suit cases and started looking for something to wear. I picked out some nice clothes and started doing my hair and make up. I’d say it’s good enough for rehearsal.:

I walked out to the kitchen satisfied. Niall eyes averted to my stomach. He was staring at the metal clad on my belly button. “You have your belly button pierced?” He said. I nodded “I thought you would’ve seen it last night, I guess you didn’t notice.” He nodded and stayed quiet. I started to panic “You don’t like it..do you…” He reassured me quickly “No no! It suits you, I just didn’t know about it.” I smiled “Sorry I didn’t tell you, I didn’t think it would mean that much.” He smiled “It’s fine babe,” he kissed my forehead “Lets go to rehearsal.”
We walked down to the lobby and saw all the boys waiting for us. They mobbed me with hugs. I laughed “Get offa me!!” Louis smiled “We are so excited to hear your set list!!” I laughed “Oh Lou, it’s not THAT exciting.” Liam stepped in “Oh but it is!!” Harry smirked at me “I didn’t notice before you had your belly button pierced..” He said eyeing the piercing. Niall grabbed my waist and looked at him “Hey, eyes off my princess!” Harry pretended to be stunned by his reaction and I chuckled.
We all hopped into the van and were on our way to the venue. I sat by Harry and Niall in the back and Liam, Zayn, and Louis were in the front with paul driving. Harry turned to me “Have you ever thought about getting a tattoo?” I thought for a moment and answered “I have actually, I just haven’t done it.” He smirked “I know a place we can go, if you would like.” I smiled “alright deal, take me after rehearsal?” He nodded. Niall shook his head in mock disapproval and I playfully smacked his arm. He pretended to be hurt “OW!” I laughed “Oh come on Niall, it’s just one tat, what could possibly happen?”
We reached the venue and all ran inside before any fans noticed us. When we got in, it was huge!! The stage was humongous with screens every where. We saw there manager standing there and she was to tell us when and what to practice. We all walked up to her and gave her our ‘hello’s. She smiled and spoke “I actually want Alaina to start practicing first, just run through your show with your starting number and ending with your duet.” I nodded and walked up onto the stage. I held a microphone. It was pretty sweet. It looked like this:

My music started for Wings. I smirked and got my sass on. I started singing the words and I swear the boys who haven’t heard me sing, their jaws dropped. I was dancing around the stage and giving attitude and all. After I was done with that song they all stood up and started whooping for me. I laughed and started blushing. Next I sang the song that I wrote. I stood on a stool and gave it emotion. I kept looking at Niall and I almost got tears in my eyes for the second time. Without a doubt I will cry on stage while singing this. The boys clapped and started whispering about me. Was it bad? I just kept going though, and sang mistletoe. Harry and Louis were dancing around like lunatics when I sang and it was hard for me not to laugh at them. When I rang out the last note. I pointed at Niall and told him to come here.
He mounted the stage with a grin on his face. The music for no air started to play and I started to sing. Everyone in the venue had eyes on us now. We were looking at each other with passion and practically performing the song, even though it was just rehearsal. After we rang out the last note. Everyone in there cheered, even their manager! “Well done, Alaina, well done. You can sit and watch the boys practice.” I nodded and went and sat in a chair.
You would think that these boys are very serious when they practice, by how their talent is. You’re dead wrong. They were goofing off the entire time! Zayn was attempting to dance, while Louis was on the floor beating his hands on the ground. Niall was jumping over people, and Harry was dragging the ‘laying on the ground’ Louis. I decided this is a kodak moment right here. I snapped of picture of them and tweeted it.

I smirked and saw that #1DAlaina was trending. Finally, their manager got frustrated with them, and let them go for the day. We were walking out of the venue when Harry turned to me “Ready for that tattoo?” He smirked I nodded “Lets get inked!!” He chuckled at my goofiness. Niall came up to me “Do you want me to come with?” He asked, still a little unsure about this whole thing. I nodded “Sure babe, then we can go get ice cream or something.” He smiled.
We got a cab to go to the tattoo parlor and we walked inside. The tattoo artist greeted Harry right away. “Harry! Back for more I see?” Harry laughed “No actually, I just brought my friend here Alaina. She would like to get a tattoo.” He nodded and smiled “You are touring with them, am I correct?” I nodded “Yeah, I have an idea of what I want to get today. Can I show you a picture?” He nodded. I walked over and showed him a picture on my phone and smiled. “That’s a nice one, lets go over and get started.”

We walked out of the tattoo parlor, I was very satisfied with it. My tattoo looked like this:

I got it for my love in singing and in the music industry. Harry really liked it, and to my surprise so did Niall. I turned to him and smiled “See! I wasn’t gonna get a stupid one.” He fake sighed “I guess it is a good tattoo.” I smirked at him and gave him a kiss. Harry groaned “Ew, stop the PDA so much.” We laughed at him “Well then go back to the hotel lad.” Niall stated. “I think I will actually, see you guys later.” He got into a cab and me and Niall kept walking the streets of New York. We came across the ice cream parlor we ate at last night and got pretty much the same thing, only we decided to stay and eat our ice cream there. “Are you excited?” Niall asked me licking my ice cream. I huffed “Niall I am, but I’m still really nervous.” He looked at me almost exasperated. “You. Are. Amazing Alaina. Did you see the boys’ reaction to you singing back there?” I looked at my ice cream sheepishly. “You are going to be great. You just need to believe in yourself.” I perked up. He is right. I need something to remind me of that. “Niall, can we go back to the tattoo parlor? I just thought of another thing to remind me something.” He looked at me skeptically but then I told him my idea and he agreed.
We walked back to the tattoo parlor. “You’re back?” That artist asked puzzled. I told him that I wanted another tattoo and he agreed that he would do it. After I was done, I had another:

I walked out of the parlor holding hands with Niall. I smiled, this is going to be the best experience of my life. I can’t wait to perform tomorrow.
