I woke up in my new room and bed. I didn't want to get up at all. The jet lag from the flight was terrible. I hauled myself out of bed, knowing today would be a good day to sight see before we start Uni. I stumble downstairs and start to make myself a cup of coffee. Right when i was foaming the milk, a tired Jess stumbles downstairs.
"Make me one too?" she says with a yawn. "Fine, but I call the shower first."
She groans at my demands. A small smirk forms on my lips. i brew both of our cups and practically down mine, scolding my mouth from the heat, and stomp up stairs to take shower. The shower was nice and warm and it woke me up very quickly. I checked the weather on my iphone, 46 degrees. Not bad. Thank god i didn't convert my temp to Celsius. I quickly pull out a very cute but warming outfit for the day.
I trot down the stairs and let Jess take up the bathroom. While she is in the shower my phone buzzes and i check it.

Well Jess and I were planning on site seeing before we had to start uni.

I texted him our new address and he said he would pick us up. When Jess comes down the stairs she is wearing this
"Good thing you dressed up, because Niall offered to have the boys show us around London today." Her face exploded with excitement, compared to the dead zombie look she was given before "So you think Harry will be there?" She says biting her lip. I chuckle at her "Duh he said 'Maybe the boys and I could show you around today?'" She tried to hide the blush on her face.
I knew she fancied Harry a bit, but i just hope that she doesn't jump ship too fast. I just didn't want my best friend to get hurt. Just then, there's a knock on the door. I open it up to find a bright, blue-eyed boy still shoving a doughnut in his face.
"Good morning!" I laugh. He holds up a finger signaling for my to wait. "Good morning!" We laugh. "So are you ready to hit the town?!" He says with enthusiasm. "Yeah i guess so haha" I say with a smile. "Well then lets go!"
He walks us out to the big van full of boys. We file into the back to see that Louis is driving.
"Oh no, why did you let Louis drive?" Jess says sarcastically. Harry chuckles "So i guess your a fan then huh?" I look at the with my brows furrowed "What are you talking about?" Louis turns around to speak "In the last few music videos i have had problems with the vehicles I drove in them." Still puzzled i just let it go and turn to Niall "Where are we going first?". "Well I was thinking maybe we could just go downtown for a bit and shop, then we can eat at Nandos, and look at some of the 'iconic' sites." "What is Nandos?" His mouth drops wide open and looks at me in disbelief. "YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT NANDOS IS?!" Liam speaks up "Niall, she is American." Jess turns to me "I thought we went through this already! I know what Nandos is." Niall high fives her "Now I'm starting to like this friend of yours better than you!" He teases. I just stick my tongue out at him "Well then we better get going so we can go shopping!"
When we reached downtown London, we split off into groups of where we wanted to go. Harry went with Jess(No big surprise), Louis went with Zayn and Liam, while I stuck with Niall since i knew him the best. We stopped mostly in little shops and i got some very cute clothes, the fashion here is way better than in America. After that we went to some of the stores that Niall wanted to go to. He was picking out some shirts when he picked up one that totally wouldn't match with the jeans he picked up.
"Oh no no no, this would go with this." I say holding up a new set of clothes. "Thanks." He says with a smile "I'm not very good at these things, most of the outfits people see me in are from our stylist Caroline." I chuckle "I kind of figured when you started picking out clothes." I said with a wink. After we bought his clothes, Niall's stomach grumbled loudly. "Jeez, you just ate an hour ago!" He smiles "Yeah well I am hungry! Lets get a snack!!" I laugh at him "Oh alright."
We walk inside a small cafe to the smell of coffees and pastries. I inhale deeply. This smelled really good. Niall goes right up to the counter to order. "Um I'll take a blueberry scone, a cinnamon roll, a chocolate chip muffin, and...." He sits there staring at the pastries. "Oh and a chocolate croissant." I stare at him with wide eyes. Boy he can eat! The lady taking the order looks at me, "And for you?" I stare at the display and decided quickly "A cinnamon chip scone." She quickly gets our food and we sit down. Niall starts digging in right away.
"Where do you put all that food?" I ask. He just points to his stomach "It goes there and then disappears. I have a really high metabolism and can't seem to gain weight." I stare at him in awe "And that is problem for you?! I can't seem to keep me skinny." I laugh. "You don't need to be any skinner, your just fine the way you are." I look up at him to see if he was serious. He started blushing and turned to his food. He was. He is really sweet but i just can't risk what happened last time. I hope I'm not doing anything to lead him on.
We leave the cafe as soon as we are done and start to head to the spot we were gonna meet the rest of the group. When we get there we all decided to go see some of the sites. We took pictures by big ben, rode the London eye, Jess and I took pictures inside of red phone booths being total goofs. Soon it was time to go eat at Nandos. When we got there i was looking at the menu and I had no idea what to pick. Niall suddenly leans over to me and says "I think you would like the medium sauce the best." I look at him and he in engrossed in his menu. Oh what the heck might as well try it. When the waitress comes over she is very tall and skinny with dark chocolate brown hair and hazel eyes. "Hi my name is Brooke, are you ready to order?" Niall steps in "Yeah, I'll have 5 of the peri-peri chicken." Her eyes widen a bit but she keeps going, I'm next "I'll have the medium sauce." Niall's eyes flicker to me, noticing i took his advice. After everyone orders we all start having small talk.
"So Alaina i was wondering..." his face starts to get a little red. "If you would like to go to dinner with me sometime?" He says with a small smile. Oh he is just so cute. "Sure I'd love to Niall." I smile at him. I see Jess glaring at me. She doesn't think it's a bad idea does she? I mean it's just dinner.....I hope so.
