Alaina’s POV:
“Why the hell are you here?” I said with my harsh tone I rarely use. She grinned an evil smile “Wanted to congratulate you, you survived my first attack Alaina. I thought I could break you by physically hurting you. But I can tell you worry more about others than anything. I knew that by convincing management to let me date Harry would ruin things for your friend Jess. And I got that sexy beast back in my claws as well.” I grimaced as she went on “But that might not be enough.” She ran her hand across the vanity. “What the hell are you planning?” I growled. She laughed evilly “Oh but that’s a secret my princess.” I glared “Don’t call me that.” “Oh I’m sorry, only your Niall calls you that right? Your Prince?” I stood in silence. She isn’t worth it. “Just wanted to let you know things are going to turn ugly, but there will be nothing you can do. Ciao!”
She left the room, it felt eerie in there. I sat on the couch and called Jess. She answered on the last ring. “Hallo….” She yawned into the phone. “Oh sorry, I forgot the time difference. Caroline is planning something.” Her voice immediately woke up “What is it?” “She is planning to ruin you and Harry, and she started talking about Niall and it worries me.” She gasped “We have to take that bitch down!” I laughed “Girl! You’ve got to keep serious! I’m seriously worried about both of you. She got enough that hurting me will do no good. But hurting my loved ones will.” She sighed “I can handle her, she is nothing but a reminder of highschool.” I grinned “That’s my girl. Well, get some sleep. I’ll skype you in the morning.” “Alright, night!”
I hung up and Gina came into the room. “You were amazing tonight!” I laughed “Thanks Gina, except it would’ve been better if I didn’t get a visit from the evil Caroline.” Her eyes widened. “How did she get in here? You really need more security girl.” I laughed “It’s fine, she is just telling me to beware. She has a plan.” Gina frowned “I don’t understand why people hate so much. It just makes you feel worse in the end.” I nodded understandingly “I can see how that works.” She smiled “But I heard that Jake has some news to tell you after the show!” My eyes widened “Really?!” She nodded “It’s really good news.”
During the rest of the show, my stomach’s butterflies would not calm at the fact that I have good news to arrive. Is it about singing? Is it about a record deal? Is it about a tour? What could it be?! The show should be over by now. I heard a knock on my door and sprinted to open it. I found my blonde irishman awaiting me. Sweat dripping down his brow. “Hello babe.” He kissed me and smiled. “Great show!” I said as he plopped on the couch in my dressing room. He nodded “You were amazing, it was almost as if you didn’t take a break!” I laughed “Oh it felt so good to be back on the stage. It seemed like the crowd missed me.” He grinned “They did, they love you Alaina and you just don’t know it.” I rolled my eyes “Yeah yeah sure babe.” I sat on his lap and he grabbed my hand, intertwining our fingers. “I love you.”
He murmured in my ear. “I love you more.” I kissed him and pulled away before it got heated. He frowned, I started laughing “I have news coming! I don’t wanna be making out and then have someone important walk through the door!” His eyes widened “Really?! What is it about?” I shrugged “I’ve been trying to figure that out for the past hour!”
